Years and years ago, the fallen warrior Fen nearly wiped out humankind. To aide survival, the remaining survivors devised a plan. Input human brains into androids. In the end, the world was restored, but humans could no longer feel. They had become robots. They had no heart. They could not cry. They could not feel pain. They had no memories, only data.
Civilization continued normally, but no one aged.
But there are still those who have not yet become machines...
Fourteen year old Xion Forester is one of the few remaining who have not become androids. Although she doesn't know it. Xion thinks she is just like everyone else, a machine. But one day, she gets a mysterious letter urging her to go to the abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. What she finds there changed her and her life, utterly and completely.
So I've got a few stories here. Three to be exact and I'm going to enter them in the short story contest. If it's still going on that is. Uhhh... kinda just filing up space now. Hmmm... so the first story is about a witch that doesn't talk. The second is about Cinderella's step sister. The third and final story is about a tree spirit.
