It's the year 2032 and Mercy lives the perfect life as a Superior being in the distopian civilization that is The Society. Hey thanks for having a look on my book. This is my really first english book and it might not be the best and without faults. So sorry for that. But thank you to have a look on it. I'm very open to read comments and critics. Sweat ran down my face as I ran, as fast as I could away to anywhere. I had nowhere to go. And in this cruel and technologically invasive world, they would find me within the week and I would be dead. Tortured first for defying them and then killed in a creative way while the assailants most likely smiled with the sharp teeth similar to a Char'pointed smile.
I was still a child, but they had forced me to grow up faster, till I felt as though I had aged ten years.
Just a pawn in this twisted game of fate that was controlled by the government. A pawn who was soon to be captured by the other team.
At the healthy age of 17, every boy and girl must be chipped, this chip will take one whole week to complete a full cycle of searching your memories, fears and secrets. However, if you are hiding any secrets or information that could be dangerous, the council will not hesitate to kill you.
A few days after Cassia has been chipped, she uncovers more and more about her past, and some very emotional secrets, but she only has five days until her cycle is complete, and she knows what will happen to her if the council finds out.
Grailem was one of mankind’s last hopes to finally achieve immortality. Created in a test tube he had been bred specifically to be fully integrated with an artificial robotic body. To live forever has been Man’s dream almost since time began; would immortality finally bring the happiness that we all desire?
