This is the first book I have made of my morbid poetry and short stories. Within these pages are contained the powerful words and thoughts of a teenager through the ages of junior high to high school. Contained within these pages are the words to show the world a taste of the lonely teenage road, and to show the world how hard being a teenager can truly be.
I began writing actively in my 6th grade year, and have been writing ever since. It is my lifestyle and my lifeblood. It's what helps keep me going every day and what helps relieve me of all my pent-up emotions. This is just a taste of what I went through from 6th grade to my senior year of high school (for that is the time frame that these particular pieces take place in).
Halcyon: Raised by God Never Told to Lay Down, a novel by Michael Holder, is a story about ancient evil and the mysterious forces that align to destroy it. When Father Thaddeus Halcyon is sent by the Vatican to investigate strange occurrences in Sacramento, Calif., he has no idea what he is about to face. A third-generation Satanist named Raith Drenor has secretly summoned an ancient force from hell known as Confectororis and imprisoned it inside a human host. If Drenor is not stopped in time, he will release Confectororis on an unsuspecting world, but Father Halcyon has a secret of his own: he is actually Lazarus of Bethany, the man that Jesus raised from the dead more than 2,000 years ago. Now he must work with the rookie sheriff's department deputy, Hunter Musgrave, to catch Drenor and defeat Confectororis before it's too late. "The story is a unique and twisted journey into the underworld and, although it is a work of fiction, I have tried to make it as realistic as possible," Michael Holder says. "It deals with supernatural events that are used to explain mysteries from the past and conspiracy theories that foreshadow God's plans for the future of man." He references contemporary events and locations in an effort to create a realistic narrative. Intended to offer suspense and intrigue, the book blends religious history with crime-solving details.
Darien is a hunter, part Daemon, part something else. His job is to kill malevolent Daemon, but to do so, he must break laws that bind his order. With the threat of a greater evil, he must prevail.

Continually developing her super-natural strength and powers, she sets out to master them. Her inspiration, a beneath the surface, unsettled desire for vengeance!
Just when an act of redemption seems to re-enforce their love, she is taken from Ty by a man who's heart she broke in the past, Adam. As Silvia is held prisoner by Adam, the truths revealed change everything. Although the target of her vengeance may change, the verdict remains the same, total annihilation. An obsession that may cost her own existence.
