A 17 year old girl sees ghost. Her friends Alex, David, and Kate all see them too. Infact they all met through one certain ghost. Niki tries to "kill" Max, the head ghost of the Haunters that just so happened to kill Niki's mother. Jace, the ghost that is bound to protect the four kids, is assigned to help Niki get rid of Max. It's a very difficult procedure, it is not your normal crossing over, it is very different. The four kids believe that they are in some sort of horror movie until the unexplainable happened. Along the way Niki falls in love with someone who no one would ever have thought of.
'We stood, with our cases, ringing the bell,
At the huge, studded door of our seaside hotel...'
