A mixed bag of personal poetry, by Krista Olivera, it ranges from the darkness of detaching from her emotions, ("I wish I could escape; Could fully, fearlessly, feel.") to ideas of our humanity, she handles her world, and her emotions, in verse. Throughout this captivating collection you will experience the loneliness, heartbreak, and self awareness expressed in these poems that challenge you to question your own humanity, and its relationship with our ability to love.

to this wonderful beloved guy

he always wears an iron glove
