In this our fifth Facebook poetry anthology,we choose as our theme,the season of Spring.A time of the year that resonates all that is beautiful,hopeful and new both in ourselves and in nature.
The soul and all of life is renewed and rebirthed. Our Poets describe the beauty of nature and the hope of love in all it's glory.Overcoming struggle and difficulty is also a form of rebirth as we discover new possibilities within ourselves and in our relationships.Throughout this anthology you will find the mundane intertwined with the ethereal,and you will be touched by dreams,desire,recollections,longing,and possibilities.Our hope is that you will be inspired.
Japanese Haiku poems are smaller in size but the impacts they make in the readers mind are epidemic. After reading the works of Japanese masters I thought of writing similar poems in Tamil language. I followed the structure of the Japanese Haiku poems but not the syntax. Along our life’s path we stumble upon various happenings and events. Some of which carve a niche in our heart, some amaze us, some amuse us, some make us think and some make us wink. I have taken my inspiration from these events and I tried to portrait them with one drop of ink. Enjoy!
