A short story in free verse about one girl's view of the rainy season in Oregon.
If Rain has to come it starts without any notice like "Thundering Sounds'
I was in a GA camp in Lafayette, LA in June 1957 when Hurricane Audrey. Some of the events are shared here.
In the mysterious ramparts of a royal backdrop, a young girl comes face-to-face with her past on an unusual monsoon night in the desert
As Megan finishes a long day of work, she waits with 6 others for a bus bound to never arrive. As the plot thickens, the characters are forced on to an emotional rollercoaster and experience the flood of the century.
