Afterthought is a short story about a ghost who is caught between two different worlds. There is a longing to protect the one still left behind and let their loved one know they're truly not alone, but also a pull to go on to rest.

Excerpt: “Wow...... The whole thing is kind of unbelievable, don’t you think?” He asked softly. What whole thing? Summer wondered. The dark haired girl sat on a rock.
“I guess so. I just think that she is lucky. She didn’t have to go through what the rest of us did. She doesn’t have any idea. She thinks that everything is still like before the Crash. It’s just..... ugh,” she replied. Summer was deeply confused. She had no ideas what they were talking about. The Crash? Summer hopefully waited for some sort of explanation, or something to lessen her confusion.
“Well, yeah, but, at the same time, whatever the Leaders have planned for her is surely gonna make up for what she missed out on. And by what she thinks that she knows about the world, her situation is the worst ever,” the boy said.
Mara begins working over the summer. She lays awake at night thinking about her work. It's everything she wants. Until she meets 'Teeto'.

Taking advantage of the Pennington School District's summer sports camp program, Zormna Clendar decides it is wise to make some distance between herself and Jennifer McLenna's parents, at least for the summer. However, she is not allowed to go alone. Jeff Streigle, A.K.A. Jafarr Zeldar, comes along to carry out his duty to protect the possible savior that he believes is a fulfillment of prophecy.
Katie is a sweet, caring child at the age of six who went on a summer vacation and met a boy named Luke who was also six years old. They became the best of friends who went back to the same place every summer and without realising they fell in love. Until Katie's parents died. Now Katie is a rebelious bad girl who is always in trouble. But what will happen when They meet again, will Luke and Katie reconnect or will katie just push him away? But what happens when you add werewolves and mates to the mix?
