William and Tibby were convinced that every time the beasts roared out of sight, it was with the intention of devouring their occupants. Thankfully, however, the beasts always thought better of their behavior and returned with their prey unharmed. The cats were waiting for the day, though, when one of the beasts failed to do so. They could only hope that when that day came it was the man and not Second Mom who was eaten.
The idea of writing William and Tibby Forever came after Lynda’s cat, William, was killed. She was so saddened by the loss and thought how it must be for other people, especially for kids losing their pet, or a person for that matter. So she decided to write a children’s picture book about William’s death. However, when she sat to write the story, Lynda realized that she had already written 10 pages, not yet including the part where she meets William. It was then that she made a decision to write a full novel about William.
If you want to write an effective fiction book about cats, the first thing that you need to do is to observe actual cats. Usually, when authors write about something, they first look for some inspirations for their characters before starting to write. You should do the same thing. Before writing your cat story, look for some inspirations for your feline characters. Spend some time on observing real-life cats – what their personality are, how they usually respond to things, and what their common mannerisms are. Figure out how cats generally think, feel, and act. Get as much information about them as you can through observation and research. The more information you have about real-life cats, the more precise your feline characters will be.
Have you ever wondered what cats and dogs must be thinking? Just pretend for a moment that they are people too. What do you think they would say? About us, themselves, and the world around them if they could talk and we could understand.
This book is fun for kids and adults too. To read and laugh. To kick back and just feel carefree. Be a kid again. So read, laugh, even cry if you must. It will be hard to put this book down of cute doggy and kitty sayings.

Watching owls at night can be a scaring experience when we are children. Now for me its face resembles a human face as a symbol of wisdom and knowledge.

While Princess Beatrix and Jade were heading back to the castle, a flock of crows began to attack and run back to the forest for cover. In the meantime, Tika appears on a large dog as a horse, and clad in armor while fighting off the crows.....
