The purpose of this study is a bit different than previous works. I have chosen a simple Museum advertisement to show the degree and depth mass media is willing to go in order to re-write history, transform the minds of its public and radicalize thought. It is now necessary to question the minutest of materials before accepting its premises.

Started out as a project for church and random inspiration from reading the scriptures. This is really long, took up about 18 written pages.

Kids are running around in India, pivoting and dwelling in the crowd and the heat of dusty roads. Eyes are thrown aback in this chaos, anything that moves, lives and begs for rupees.

In the last study, I concentrated on an overview of Jerusalem's significance and how the early church viewed it. In this issue, the focus is on "Jesus and the city," beginning with His birth and continuing through His death.

Our information age has caused the world's population to rely heavily upon research and advice from unknown sources in order to steer one into safe harbor. Google has become a god.

Mission is an African novel set in Kenya. Michael, a missionary priest in Kenya, has just killed Munyasya, a retired army officer. It might have been an accident, but Mulonzya, a politician resentful of the power of foreign churches, tries to exploit the tragedy for his own ends. Boniface, a young church worker, and his wife, Josephine, have just lost their child. They did not make it to the hospital in time, possibly because Michael made a detour to retrieve a letter from the Mission, a letter from Janet, a former volunteer teacher who was the priest's neighbour for two years. It is Munyasya who has the last laugh, however, when he reveals that he was probably in control of events all along. Thirty years on, the same characters find their lives still influenced by his memory.

I take a deep breath. “Mikey. I can hear you.” The six syllables come out slower than I wanted them to. My voice shakes with each sound.
There’s a long pause. “Yeah.” He sounds confused, and I understand why. Of course I can hear him. He’s on the radio.
“You don’t understand, though." Now it all comes out in a rush. "I’ve been deaf since I was six and I was in the car earlier and suddenly I could hear this radio station and Amazing Grace was playing but I couldn’t hear anything else and I can’t hear my sister or my mom and I can’t hear if the dog next door is barking. I can only hear your radio station.”
