an orphan pleads for adoption and in return promises everything his adopters deserve
Mankind has always wondered how the world would end and if he, in some form, would go on.
Here, the most unlikely of "heroes" finds out.
The good news is: It's not global climate change that gets us.
The bad news is: It doesn't help us either.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Barry Carver is a native of the Detroit area and has been everything from a short-order cook to an army sergeant to an actual Hollywood actor.
Now a disabled veteran, he has settled in the Washington, DC area raising two small sons and, occasionally, tomatoes and basil.
