Ever since she was small, Victoria Granger has been brought up to be the perfect daughter; she is demure, quiet, a perfect role model- That is, until she meets Lawrence Irving, a respectable police officer for the law. Sparks begin to fly, plots begin to twist, and soon the pressured young woman realises that she has an astounding secret she must keep from Lawrence at all costs- for Victoria is a suffragette, a campaigner for women's rights. Knowing that she can only keep her true colours to herself for so long, Victoria is caught between her beliefs, and the love of her life. And then the bomb explodes...
