The universality of that revelation is startling. When the efforts of man, doing the work of the Lord, run into to difficulties-this admonition rises to meet him. Man's effort apart from the will and leadership of the Lord do not possess this attribute. When Zerubbabel met opposition and mountains of oppression from both inside the camp (Israel abandoned building the Temple and began building homes for themselves) and outside the camp (surrounding tribes sought legal and illegal means to stop the work and were successful upon occasion), he must have entertained discouragement. Zechariah's words were edifying to him.

A Further Study on Grace and what it really means not just for the Jews but all of the world today. Luke continues by emphasizing the aspect of "fullness" associated with "this kind of grace." On Jesus rested all the manifestations of grace found in all the Old Testament ancients and all the coming glory of New Covenant grace. He was "filled with wisdom and the grace of God was upon Him." It was a visible grace.

Faith to believe you can do great and many things
Just have hope you'll be amazed by what it brings
Divine nature to give brother kindness to all
Individual worth to help you stand tall
Knowledge to learn and grow
Choice and accountability and good works
And you know
That it will keep you from being dark and hallow
Good works, integrity and virtual you should follow
If you want to make your dreams come true
Keep these words close to you
Keep them in your heart
Do not depart
From the way of life
It will help you to strife
Fight the good fight
Stay away from dark and stay In the light
Don't give up be strong
It won't be so long
You can endure all things
Your a champion Raise up and sing
You are a child of the king

Where the Pen Falls serves as a collection of poems which embody sentiments of love, loss, faith, rebirth, beauty, and nature. Each poem has been paired with original photograpghy capturing the essence of whatever I see as I'm writing. I hope these words bring thought and inquisition.

Our Lord cleaned the temple and we are to clean our house. What was said to the dove merchants was meant for the entire structure of the compromised Temple. It could have been said to money changers, sheep traders and purveyors of incense. It was shouted to one, but included everyone.

Paul tackled the opponents of Grace throughout this wonderful first book of his writings. Having suffered much from the Jews, he was unwilling to see his converts slide back into a form of Judaism, even though it was being administered and nurtured by Jewish converts. However, in attacking this error, he, in essence, attacked all forthcoming attempts to "add things" to the Grace Gospel flowing out of Christ.

Jimmy has a crisis of faith, one which will be broken by an unexpected source.
