some fairy tales have another side to them
Ade had life pretty good. She was the youngest child of the King and was spoiled not just by her parents but by her brother/best friend, Lee. Ade and Lee made every night in Valhalla an adventure and often got into trouble because of it. But that all changes one night when Lee suddenly vanishes after their latest prank with little leads as to what had happened to him.
Not believing that Lee would ever run away without even saying goodbye, despite the evidence, Ade senses something is wrong and stops at nothing to find out what happened to him seeking the help of a few good friends.
On the search for her brother Ade will learn about herself, love, betrayal and conspiracies but will she find the one thing she's been looking for?

I stared at my dad as fear started to pump through my veins. I didn’t like the way he was looking at me. It was like I was a piece of meat. He looked me up and down slowly and it made me shiver. I swear, it was like my skin was crawling and that is not a pleasant feeling.
He bent down close to my neck and breathed in deep through his nose.
“Fear, it smells good on you. It’s such a turn on,” he whispered.
I couldn’t let this happen…not again. Anger soon started to fill my body. It just kept rising and rising. I couldn’t do it anymore. I just couldn’t fight it. I let go and the anger consumed me. All I could feel was numb but it was a pleasant numbness.
Everything seemed to turn black for a few seconds until all I could feel was immense pain. Where did the numbness go? Why does it feel like my body is trying to rip itself apart? My body kept contorting this way and that, all the time feeling like it was breaking countless bones. My body finally stopped hurting and I could faintly hear a gasp.

Even the fearsome goblins who also have wings must hide in their caves for fear of the sun. The problem comes from the dark cloud that has covered the sky, shedding darkness everywhere. With the sun blocked out, it's only a matter of time before the goblins come for them. Kareen knows the battle is imminent, but what she doesn't know is whether or not she can keep her family safe.
When the hybrids come two hundred years early, Mia goes rogue to protect her brother, Casey, from the trackers. If they find him, they will make him face off against Kinto- a strong brute who will kill him. Unless she gets her brother to the mountain of Gregorio, and get's him trained- Casey will die.
