It was game of dare we played as children. you do it in a pitch black room and if all goes right her face will appear in the mirror and blow out the candle.

Homicide detective Madison La 'Crux, is put to the ultimate test after her sister is the third victim of notorious serial killer Roman Numeral. With no leads, and sufficient evidence, she struggles to figure out whom killed her sister and those before her sister, and to prevent the murderer from killing others. As time runs out, she has no other choice but to investigate the ones close to her... turns out. The killer was closer than she could have ever imagined.

A sudden downpour in the evening may bring disruption of normal life. With the roads flooded and dark without street lamps may turn a place scary and unsafe.  Walking on a road at dusk may not only invite bad men, but also bad souls that wander to take revenge on people who walk by their way. The supernatural has always been a part of my life, regardless if I wanted it to be or not. I had convinced myself so much of it was the overactive imagination of a kid who spent too much time in his head in order to cope with all the shit life threw at him. The memory is a fickle thing, a picture book drawn by a bad artist, an unreliable narrator picking away at the important bits while slamming square pegs in round holes to try and make them fit a narrative. It is also something of a benevolent protector, shielding us from what lies just beyond the veil that divides our fragile concepts of reality and the sledgehammer that is the truth. These last few months really showed me that. So, where do I begin talking about the events that became the hammer to the glass that was my hated reality?
