Most of us come into this world with an inborn need for religion, a higher power to believe in. However, when fear and misunderstanding are the driving forces behind that desire, the result is rarely a good thing.
Eight years ago, Laura Bradford mysteriously disappeared off campus, causing quite a disturbance in the lives of Kenny Elliot and Gerald Reynolds, a journalism student with a fascination for Mesoamerican artifacts. When Gerald calls unexpectedly to tell Elliot he’s recently seen Laura then sets up a meeting only to be a no-show, Elliot tracks him down to get some answers. Instead he finds his old friend murdered in a ritualistic fashion.
Elliot takes a leave of absence from his job as a Tulsa police detective and launches an unofficial investigation, which leads him into the world of an Aztec deity with an appetite for blood.
Princess Lucifa Belshirin was broken after Jack was killed in front of her very eyes and her parents enslaved by her crazy vampire suitor. To protect her, she was put into a deep sleep and given to the Kingdom of Shadows. Freedom and vengeance never tasted so sweet but the prince given to her proved to be a more difficult task for her broken demon heart.
Vampires had overthrown the royals and made the Kingdom of Shadows their own. Humans had become their slaves and the only hope left was to awaken the devil’s daughter-the princess of the dead. The only price they had to pay was to sacrifice their prince to become her slave eternally.
Prince Kyle Ravens did not want to be enslaved eternally to a demon princess but for the sake of the kingdom he would bloody hell comply. The only consolation was his vow to himself that the demon would never have his heart even if it killed him.
Sydlynn Hayle is the daughter of a powerful witch and a demon lord, but she just wants to be ordinary. Syd struggles to survive yet another new high school, torn between her attraction to football hero Brad Peters and the darkly mysterious Quaid Moromond. When her coven comes under attack, Syd is forced to face the fact only her power can save her family's magic.
Elizah "Lizzie" Fane has a miserable life. Her mother and sister have hated her since they knew she wasn't normal. She wishes that her life would have ended in the fire that killed her father. She needed someone...and didn't find that person until Reece Luca came into her life.
Reece knew that he needed a mate or he would die soon. All he wants is the kind of love he saw his parents have for 300 years. He didn't think that he would find it...until he saw Elizah one day, and that day, he knew he had to have her.
Will Elizah be able to overcome her fear of love to love Reece or will they both suffer?
Ten years have passed since Sophis and Vivek, two vampires of the Venia bloodline, came close to death at the hands of twin hunters Aleksis and Izabella Romanov. The events of that night turned Sophis and Vivek against each other, shattering their close friendship and driving them apart.
Now, on the eve of a centenary Creator Day masquerade and at a time when things between them are dangerously close to separating them forever, they uncover a small army of vampire hunters in Saint Petersburg, led by their nemeses, Aleksis and Izabella.
With the safety of the rulers of the seven pure vampire bloodlines in their hands and their chance for vengeance hanging in the balance, can Sophis and Vivek face their past and overcome their differences? Will they realise their true feelings for each other before it’s too late or will the hunters finally claim their lives as their deadly plot to destroy the bloodlines unfolds?
Kyla is an perfect girl in her perfectly perfect world. Except for her nightmares. But overall she's popular, pretty, and perfect. The three P's. Until one day her world is shattered. Her boyfriend and best friend become monsters and a mysterious boy who lies about his name comes waltzing in to her life. Kyla doesn't understand why he seems familiar, or why she knows his name isn't David. She doesn't understand, because she doesn't remember.
After a decadent-looking savage captures Francesca DuVall and her brother Marsh, she spends every waking moment planning an escape. She didn’t count on the powerful draw of desire interfering with her scheme while in the clutches of the brutal Cheyenne Dog Soldiers.
Ethan Gray is a curator at a national museum . . . most of the time. When he travels through time to help his beloved People he’s Meko, leader of the most revered and feared tribe of the plains. Their worlds are decades apart and yet Meko can’t resist the dark beauty he kidnapped during a raid. Violent battles loom on the horizon, but there’s only one he must win at all costs – the capture of Cesca’s heart forever.
From the windswept plains of Colorado and the harsh life of a Dog Soldier to the placid life of a curator, their love was fueled by passion and kindled by destiny.
Angeline felt special. She wanted him to be happy with her. She just wanted him to stay a bit longer. That's all. He obviously didn't want to stay, and now she's lost everyone around her because of what she's done. She tried to confide in someone, anyone really, but no one would listen. Then, along comes another guy.
Keagan is an average werewolf, a guy who really wouldn't mind having the Alpha title. Finding a mate, though, is the first step to getting there. The problem with that, is that not everyone finds their mate. He never actually even expected to do so. But he did find her, and she has some baggage to deal with, honestly. The only problem: she doesn't even trust him.
**Okay, so I haven't actually finished writing this story yet, and I'm really just kind of hoping for some feedback on the first couple of chapters. I have more, but I just want some critiques and comments and such, so if you could please give it a chance and let me know how the story is, and if it's even really worth continuing on with, that would be great. I'm not going to continue putting work into it if the story isn't even any good. Any comments at all, seriously throw them to me. Even if you don't like it at all, or if there isn't enough description, or if it doesn't make sense, or if there's too much description, or whatever.
Also, I've never really written in a guy's point of view, and I know that, from a reader's perspective, I enjoy having the two love interests' POV. If the switching of POV is too much or too often, or if the guy's POV is totally off or whatever, please tell me.
Thanks for reading all that crap above, and don't forget to comment the crap out of the book.
