A short poem about fate. This is my first upload and I hope people like it! Please comment and let me know how I did! Goodness, 140 characters is too much for this little poem (but I made it!)

Taking the subway is an adventure. The stops are predictable and mapped but the people who might come and go are not. The riders help form the pulse of what makes the city move. They are all cells riding through the veins of an elaborate system.

So this is a poem that I'm doing for the contest and I think it's pretty good. About a boy who looks at his mother sew. Magical things happen when she does it.
These pieces were created as a process response to Gertrude Stein's poem, Stanzas in Meditation for a high school English class. None of the poets are professional writers yet, but all are very talented and enjoy good literature.
These are my poems. Don't hate on them, because that's just rude. You'll see my views on things. This is fully completed. I work hard on my writing since it doesn't come naturally. Thank you.

I feel like there is a knife
Deep inside my heart
Twisting itself around
As if to remind me that this is what happens
That this is what I get for falling in love...
