He was covered in sweat, his eyes bloodshot from tears, and urine dripped down his pants. He was 15ft away from them when he tripped. Something jumped over the boy and landed close to him. The young man reached his hands towards them, crying out. The thing grabed him and dragged him back towards the stairs. The person clawed desperatly at the ground causing his nails to rip up and blood slid over the floor. His terrorized face dissapeared, hidden from view as he was dragged down. The doors shut just as his blood-chilling screams filled the building.
Far away in an uncharted island, a dark force is rising. Our hero, Leo Henrique, is the only person who can stop the force. However, he's still young and is pretty much a scaredy cat and he must learn to control his newly earned powers. Can he actually change and rise as a hero? Only time will tell.
The entire building exploded.
Glass, debris and brick rained down on our heads, as if the world were officially coming down around us.
As if the Zom's weren't enough. As if being torn from my family - my parents, and friends, hadn't been enough. As if seeing those you trusted most being eaten alive, tortured or worse hadn't appeased whatver god that be. As if seeing my home in flames, lost to looters; ravaged by the lost and the free hadn't ripped open my every wound I'd gotten since this bloody outbreak started, wasn't good enough.
How much more will we lose before we're finally safe? Or until we finally give up?
Just how much can we - as the human race - take? We all break eventually.
Solutions: A Man's Dilemma is the second story in the series of seven that examines one's relationship with self, others, and ultimately our Lord God. The story picks up a few years later where A Dog's Dilemma left off. In this story Stephen, a former FBI agent, is called to duty by the U.S. Crisis Center. The crisis comes in the form of a world-wide flu pandemic that is threatening to extinguish all human life. Stephen's job is to talk reluctant survivors to leave their homes and be delivered to a place of isolation and safety. But what Stephen eventually finds out is not a question of where they are being delivered but why.
