Phantom of Time is a gripping historic novel about an antagonist who has power to bring before men the appearance of their departed friends. The counterfeit is perfect; the familiar look, the words, the tone, are reproduced with marvelous distinctness. Many are comforted with the assurance that their loved ones are enjoying the bliss of heaven, and without suspicion of danger, they give ear “to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” The pretended visitants from the world of spirits sometimes utter cautions and warnings which prove to be correct. But is this really true? The Phantom of Time takes the reader centuries in the past literally digging in the graves for the answers.
Orphan Kali has long gotten over her missing parents. She is majoring in computer science, has a membership at Jamba Juice, and an organized mess of a dorm room. She even runs the 'Love your Planet' club on campus.
Its finals week and Kali is ready for her first year of college to be over, but when she is attacked by an assassin, well, would you want to be left alone?
Kali didn't know that she was a direct descendant of the Fae king and queen. But she certainly was not aware that she stood as the only heir to the throne. Or that she could fall in love with someone, something that wasn't even human. She is thrown into a world that she once thought could only come from a fairy tale. Kali needs to run, but she doesn't know it yet.
Assassins, sorceresses, trolls, and potions. Life and death and everything in between.
So there it is, my new bundle of poems. It contains the poems 'The Raft', 'This Strange State', 'The Desert' and 'Crossroads' previously published, and a new one entitled 'The Power Of Words' as well. I named it 'The Author Prevails', after a line in that last poem, and also because everytime I finish a poem I feel like I've won a battle, like I've prevailed. I hope you enjoy it, and don't be shy to give me your opinions and advice.

The Regents, a powerful, old-money South Georgia family, are involved in the lucrative naval stores turpentine industry, as well as being a major player in the financial world in the South in 1925.
However, when a rattlesnake bite kills a key turpentine worker supervisor and leaves his daughter orphaned, the lives of Reginald and Naomi Regent, owners of the huge turpentine conglomerate, will forever be changed.
Len, one of the Regent brothers, after having learned about the wild horses of the West, moved to Utah shortly after the turn of the twentieth century with a deep concern for that animal’s existence. Little does he realize that what just occurred in South Georgia will profoundly affect his life as well.
Thus, the stage is set for a heart-warming saga that passes through nearly eight decades and three generations, finally concluding with an interesting twist in 2008.
An enjoyable read with just the right amount of romance, intrigue, mystery, friendships and history surrounding the brutal politics of the wild horse of the West makes this a very difficult book to put down and equally hard to forget.
