I began wondering who this person had been, about the circumstances under which he or she had received this pen, and why it was now up for sale on e-bay. And naturally, that led to this strange little story about a girl named Perry and what happened to her life when some anonymous person gifted her with an antique fountain pen.

Stuff happens. The world changes. People get weird. Then stuff gets even weirder. Zara is right in the middle of all that, trying to make sense of what the heck is going on in a world gone more than a bit crazy.

Something in the dark is hungry - not beautiful, mysterious, powerful, romantic, handsome - hungry. And all it can feed on are those who represent what the hungry ones once were. Nothing pleasant about that, my friend. Nothing at all.
