While on a mission to deliver a personal thank you message from the Council of Them to the Council of They, two couriers from Earth One (or is it Earth Two?) find a metal box where Earth Two (or is it Earth One?) used to orbit the sun. Upon return to Earth One (or is it Earth Two?) the box is opened and the mystery of whatever happened to Earth Two (or is it Earth One?) is explained--I think
Do you know there is an easy way to escape all of your fears and pain and hurt in life? Well there is. For Jimmy, a young boy terrified by tidal waves and taken away from his home by a man who claims to love him like a brother, the escape from such terrifying events comes from a power that was within him all the time. The problem, however, is Jimmy has to face the nightmares of death before being saved by the dreams of life. Does he dare fall asleep?
Jerry is a simple city dweller who enlists in the military and finds himself in a land he has never dreamed of ever going. The land is a place where trees and animals and a big and mighty river are all around. Something else is there that really captures his attention. It is a road, a road that from what Jerry can tell goes nowhere. But every road goes somewhere; right? Well, Jerry finds that when you are in the middle of nowhere a road can lead to something quite unexpected.
Jerry, just having satisfied his curiosity by traveling down that road that led, to his surprise, to the Yukon River, now has another itch to scratch: what is up the river?
Still captivated by the river's raw beauty, Jerry just has to find out. While the Fall season is still providing the river with light and warmth, Jerry decides a camping trip is in order.
With a couple of days off from his duties at the Air Force station, Jerry decides to take a camping trip to find out what wonderful surprises would be awaiting his arrival.
And what exactly does he find? Well the answer to that lies beyond The Road and Up the River.
Solutions: The Dilemma of Faith is the sixth story in a series of seven that explores one's relationship with self, others, and ultimately with our Lord God. The story picks up years later where The Dilemma for Men ends. In this story, the death of Mary's daughter, Melissa, from an auto accident many years ago has left her devastated. Mary too, the driver that night, was very badly hurt. Her life, body, and mind, having been reconstructed from the same accident, has never felt right. Then one night a man comes screaming into her life. On that night a disturbing clue creates doubt for Mary as to her past and present life. What she finds that night is just the beginning of a journey that leads to a very painful truth.
Solutions: The Dilemma for Men is the fifth story in a series of seven that explores one's relationship with self, others, and ultimately with our Lord God. The story picks up where The Dilemma for the Gods leaves off. Long after the emergence of the children into the Good World, the children had lived in relative peace and safety. But suddenly grumblings began. Comfort was taken away by decisions of the Central Council. The Council instilled fear into all. Men and women once again were led away from God and forced to heed only to the Council's decisions. But for Louis, acceptance of the change was not taken lightly. Tired of the grumblings, wanting a break from the struggle, he looks to a path leading away from the guarded perimeter of the Village he lives and works at and suddenly the spirit of adventure overcomes him. Wondering where the road leads to, he talks his way past security and with nothing holding him back starts travelling down the road. But where that path takes him and what is experienced along the way will be a test of his faith, and maybe the end of it.
In The Visiting Stranger, George, an ederly man in the final stages of an incurable cancer, is near the end of his life. As he cries in pain while lying in his hospital bed, an unexpected visitor comes into the dark room. The visitor claims to have known George all his life, and also claims that he was always with him. But with all of George's closest friends and family having already departed the earthly life, the stranger's claims appear to be a cruel joke--but are they?
Solutions: The Dilemma for the Gods is the fourth story in a series of seven that examines one's relationship with self, others, and ultimately with our Lord God. The story picks up many, many years after The Dilemma of Hopelessness ended. In this story Terrance, a man in rebellion of the Gods and troubled by the loss of the woman he was to be mated with, Rita, is aware of some deception that holds the high priests and believers hostage to the prescribed tenets. But because of one of his rebellious acts he is put in a position where the truth is revealed. Is it his rebellious nature that leads him to such truth or the grief he feels for the loss of Rita? Or, could it be that the Gods themselves are leading him to the truth? Who knows?
Solutions: A Dog's Dilemma is the first story in a connected series of seven which explores one's relationship with self, others, and ultimately with our Lord God. This story opens the series with Rick, a homeless man, who receives a five dollar bill from an anonymous donor. Wanting to thank the mysterious stranger for such a generous gift, an accompanying business card is the only clue as to her or his identity. But never did Rick imagine that a simple thank you would lead to an adventure of a lifetime.
