The heaviness of dealing with day to day activity especially being a caretaker can overwhelm at times, yet knowing that through writing and letting go of feelings of anger or sadness with something meaningful as exercising or using creativity can bring about freedoms.
appreciating the moment, because yesterday was a lesson
that has brought us to this point...now. Everyday is a blessing for life is never guaranteed or expected. It is a gift to be revered and appreciated.
This poem Merciful Time is a slight depiction of dealing with the frustrations of surviving domestic abuse... Each day is a lesson learned.
This poem is a slight depiction of the isolation felt, being the victim of domestic violence and abuse. The feeling of unworthiness at times, and feeling like the body is losing it's parts. There is a path out of the cage once a realization occurs of the strength within...
