author - "Judy Colella"
To be honest, this story started as a rant. I was so over the non-stop parade of worn-out, cliche-filled "books" about werewolves, that when I found myself reading yet another one (because the title didn't give that salient little fact away), I think I snapped. I waxed sarcastic. I fumed. I wrote.
Translation of above paragraph: Don't take this story too seriously. It's me in snide-mode.
Enjoy!
My name is Silver. No, I'm not the Lone Ranger's horse, thank you. What I am, apparently, is a time-traveler. An unwilling one. All I wanted to do was go to lunch, but instead of heading out the door of the law office where I worked, I found myself in a forest, staring up at a dwarf on a stegosaurus. This is my journal, memoir, whatever you want to call it, of my inexplicable adventure through time. Hey, you got a sandwich you could share with me?
This work of Fan Fiction follows the life of Link, a boy left in the Kokiri Forest to be raised by its forest folk under the protection and auspices of The Great Deku Tree. This boy has a great destiny to fulfill, one that represents the only hope for Hyrule's future.
The story is based, somewhat loosely and with a lot of liberties taken, on the Nintendo game, "The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time." I've attempted to make its hero, Link, into a character that goes beyond the manipulative limits of the Nintendo controller and those of the game itself. This first book chronicles his life as a somewhat confused but very advanced ten-year-old.
Jett is a handsome, likeable Olympic decathlon gold medalist. Atarah is a beautiful, accomplished sculptress. Their love for each other is epic, but devotion and adoration that deep could also cause great harm to those in its grip. When tragedy separates them, the harm becomes as epic as their love.
