Had an argument with my ex boyfriend.. The things he said... They hurt and inspired me to write this poem. I am not a poet, not in the least. Writing a poem is rare for me
“Don’t worry little one, we will be just fine. You’re father should be home any day now,” I whispered to the life growing inside me. Even as I said it, trying so hard to believe that it was true, I knew in my heart that it wouldn’t be true. That he would never be coming back.
