Girls did not play soccer, but she watched the World Cup Argentina 1978. She admired Paolo Rossi, Marco Van Basten and Mario Kempes as much as I did. She climbed trees just as good as I did. There was a huge mango tree which had branches jutting over the roof. We would climb, sit on the roof, picked the ripe mangoes, peeled them with bare hands and ate. We spend hours laughing and talking, about the world cup games, about people that annoyed us, about our dreams, about anything really, while watching and occasionally commenting on different..

Those were the last words of Gilbert, one of Alice's only 'friends'. Of course, the fifteen-year-old Brit would never admit it, she was all alone and she didn't care. But after what the German (Gilbert) had asked her, that one word destroyed her mind. "Why?" Why did she hate the world? Why didn't she care? Why was she so alone? She had bullied so many people and taken lives without knowing, just by mistreating the people around her.
Deciding that she had had enough, Alice went up to her room just for a quick nap, she didn't want to read her favourite book, Alice in Wonderland, nor did she want to drink earl tea. The Blond slowly drifted off, thinking about that one wish she had made about having her own Wonderland. Little did she know, an entire plan was being put to action.
The blond hears some weird noise around the house, so being the Sherlock fan she was, she got up to investigate. That's when she heard it:

A little boy with emerald eyes and blond hair along with rabbit ears that drooped to the ground sat there, with magical creatures surrounding him. Looking up at Alice, terrified shrieks were heard as the boy started running downstairs and towards the garden. Alice followed, wanting to hear more, but only found herself slip and fall into a hole of pitch black.
But it was only the beginning of Alice's worst hell...

Join two different teens, 1 from the Ice Tribe and 1 from the Fire Tribe as they use their powers to save their Tribes from destruction, and, in the end, find something they never dreamed of finding.

But, when a strange wanderer puts a spell on their land to make it warm, they must bond with the Fire tribe to keep from dying. Then Zoe’s swept away on a quest to find the wanderer with her 15th birthday just around the corner, and it looks like she might never return home.
Tom is from the Fire Tribe. Having all that heat means they have to live in a hot climate. But then someone puts a spell on the temperature and suddenly it’s not hot enough. Tom becomes part of a quest with some of the Ice Tribe to find the wanderer and break the spell. He won’t tell, but Tom knows exactly who put the spell there and why. For a new 15-year-old, that’s a lot of knowledge to cope with. This adventure has twists and turns Tom isn’t expecting.
This story is about the relationship of a second child within his family and how this relationship dissintegrated beyond the point of repair. It reveals the drama of being outside an inner circle in that family and how that impacted all relationships especially between brothers.
McTeague's once trusted friend and associate, Wheelan, has broken off part of the older mobster's crime empire around the east Midlands. Far worse, Wheelan has also taken McTeague's much younger second wife, Claire, away with him.
Knowing the rest of his empire will fall away or defect to Wheelan if he fails to act, McTeague sends his trusted and lethal enforcer, Hennessy, to Sleaford to show Wheelan who is chief and to take Claire back home. So Hennessy starts a campaign of violence until Wheelan has no choice but to return Claire. But that is only the start of both gang boss's problems...
