Sometimes letting go isn’t the better option, and all you need to do is hold on . . .
Three months. That’s how long it’s been since Skye Montgomery met her biological father for the first time.
Now, after months of building up a relationship that had ceased to exist for the past seventeen years, Skye’s officially moved to Kensington, Kansas to live with her father and his family for six months—leaving her sweet, adoring boyfriend Jules, and her loving, engaged-to-be-married mother Leah, behind.
It’s a simple arrangement, really, and Skye couldn’t be happier to finally be united with her father after all these years. But when tragedy strikes back at home, trials threaten to break Skye and Jules’s relationship apart, an old relationship is surprisingly rekindled, and someone suddenly lurks in the shadows everywhere Skye goes, hunting her, everything threatens to fall apart all over again. All she wanted was a second chance, a time to start over and enjoy life for its beautiful things—things like Leah and Joe’s wedding, she and Jules’s irrevocable feelings for each other, and a chance with the father she’d always wanted—but sometime it’s not that easy.
Because the fact of the matter is, on top of everything else, Leah’s hiding something, Skye’s new friends are curious about her past, and the police are withholding important information that could have the power to change her fate.
So the question is, when it’s all said and done, will Skye be able to handle the shocking secrets hidden behind the walls of deceit and betrayal? And even more importantly: will she survive the threats on her life and keep her relationships with those she loves intact, all the while never once letting go? Only time will tell.

When I was seven, something happened that changed my life. I don't think about it much, but when I do, I usually wish that I hadn't, because it's hard. I've never written about this particular part of my life before, but I hope you guys like it.

Bread is one of the earliest foods recorded in history, and it's been sustaining humanity for thousands of years. From the elongated, crusty baguette to the flat, chewy naan, bread comes in many varieties, shapes, and sizes. More recently, bread's been vilified and blamed for many a pound and inch gained, but as with all things, it can be eaten in moderation. Nothing compares to the aroma of a fresh loaf of bread emerging from the hot oven, so get on the artisanal bread-making bandwagon and try your hand at one of these recipes I collected from all over.
Fifty years ago, scientists found out that the earth was slowing down little by little, every year slowing down so that 1 minute is knocked off the day. They found out that in 50 years and 2 months the world would abruptly stop and all living things on Eath would die. Spaceships were rapidly made to send humans to Pluto. Civilians were not alerted until 1 month before they leave...two months before Earth would stop. This is the story of a brother and 2 sisters who are accidentally left behind and their story of survival...
