I raced to the Ravenclaw house. Adam was already there. So was everyone else in Ravenclaw. And by the way, Ravenclaw is our team name. We didn’t COMPLETELY make it up, though. We got the idea from Harry Potter. “Oh, hi, Lucas. We’re having a meeting,” said Michael.

                My elder sister, Nina, was ONE of the FIVE leaders of Ravenclaw. The rest of the leaders were me, Michael, Adam, and Kalie. Nina was also in the Ravenclaw house. She was reading “Ravenclaw: History and Now” and was reading 10 lines at the same time. JK. She was just reading fast. After a minute, she was already done. “Lucas, we’re having a meeting downstairs. Let’s go down now,” she said.

                When we got down there, I said, “Hi, Michael. Where’s the meeting room?”

                “You don’t know?!” said Michael .

                “I don’t. So tell me,” I said.

                “Over there,” said Michael, pointing to a spot around the corner.

                As I went around the corner, I noticed a letter written in dark ink. It was really dark. And it wa sloppy and wet. Like it was just made. I haven’t seen this letter before in the Ravenclaw House. I opened it and read it aloud.

“Dear Ravenclaw,

                HI! I’M THE DIAMOND DRAGON AND I HAVE COME TO STEAL YOUR DIAMONDS. I HAVE A CAMOUFLAGEING SKILL AND IF YOU FIND ME IN YOUR CASTLE THAN YOU MAY HAVE YOUR DIAMONDS BACK. AND IT ISN’T EASY, I’LL TELL YOU.

                Dragon of the Diamonds” I read.

                “You GOT to be kidding me. I haven’t seen ANYTHING like that. Well, that explains why it’s sloppy,” I said.

                “Why is it sloppy?” asked George and Gary at the same time.

                “It’s a dragon, silly! And dragon’s don’t write!” I yelled at the dumb no-brain heads.

                “Well, let’s go and find it!” said Nina.

                “Okay, so we have to split up. Lucas, you’re going with me. Adam, go with George, Kalie, go with Annie, Michael, go with Gary. And last but not least, Avery, you’ll be going with Emma AND Eric, okay?” she said.

                “Let’ssss goooooooooooo!” they all yelled.

                “I’ll take that as a yes……” I whispered into Nina’s ear.

                And with that, we took off to the upstairs. This Ravenclaw house is no other normal house. It’s as big as a castle! That’s why we call it the Ravenclaw House……… we don’t want anyone to get suspicious that kids have castles……… hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! “Lucas, I see a shadow. There’s spikes around it,” said Nina.

                “I see it too. Hold on,” I said.

                I punched the dragon in the face. It yelped. “Hey, Master of the Diamonds, give them to us!” I yelled.

                The dragon gave us the diamonds, however, we had another problem to deal with. The dragon wanted to LIVE in our castle. “NO WAY,” I said.

                “You just want to steal more diamonds,” said Michael.

                “Yeah, you just want to kill us in our sleep!” yelled Adam.

                “SHUT-“ I said.

                “UP!” Nina finished my sentence. Or should I say my 2 words……. Hahaha

                “We’re going to keep it for a day okay? So,” she turned to the dragon, “ So, you can come over tomorrow, okay Dragon?”

                “Alright!” roared the dragon.

The Dragon came over the next day. In the morning. It was exited to lay down on the grass, play all day, and eating our food from the counter……….. weird dragon, that is.

                But it’s okay. Nobody’s perfect. Not even me. And so, I forgave the dragon after seeing how kind he was. He just wanted a friend to play with. But his stradegy was wrong. I don’t blame him…………. So we kept him forever and named him Spike.
