CHAPTER 1

Bridget Mundler is a shy 13 yearold girl, in her school nobody liked her she was smarter than everybody else and especially more kind but no one seemed to care. She was unpopular so nobody would hang out with her. Her mother and Father had died in a plane crash, so she lived with her grandparents. Her grandfather was a story teller, he told her all kinds of storys about; fairies, monsters, ancient myths, kings and queens, animals, treasure,fairy tale creatures, so many stories. But his favorite was The Gold Of The Blood Lotus. The blood lotus is a name of an underwater castle that was abandoned many years ago. Bridget's grandfather beleived very deeply that this treasure exists. "My Brother died searching for this treasure 20 years ago." He said. "His boat sank. but even though he had an air tank he kept searching for the treasure instead of returning to land and used it up. He never returned. He wrote in a journal that was told to be lost at sea. Bridget loved this story as well. She also beleived that the story was true and that the treasure existed. She always wanted to be a deep sea diver and loved exploring. 3 years later she moved to a boarding school in Southwest Washington, meanwhile her grandfather was very sick he was suffering cancer and her grandmother e-mailed and called her everyday to say what was going on. One day she got a very short e-mail from her grandmother that read, "Your grandfather died last night." Bridget sat there speachless just staring at her computer, she Couldn't beleive what she just read.She was sad and it was showing her friends told her that she looked down, and asked her what was wrong but she just wanted to be alone. As she sat on her bed she thought to herself that she must continue what he had started. I must search for the treasure.
