Something rustled in the brush. A large rabbit sprung out and land on a stump. It sniffed the air, and its ears went up in alarm. A cat. Before it could race away, something big crashed into him and, CRACK! The rabbit lay limp on the ground, a tom proudly staring at it. Clouded star will be impressed,

he thought to himself. The tom's name was Longlegs, a large and sleek warrior. His coat was short and shiny, the color of bark on a tree, with streaks of black. He was muscular and tall, hence the name Longlegs. His eyes were the color of a clear blue river. He picked up his kill and dragged the rabbit through the brush until it opened up into a clearing surrounded by trees. He dropped the rabbit from the ledge from which he stood and leapt gracefully down and continued to drag his rabbit to the fresh-kill pile, and his best friend Poppyfur trotted up to him. "Wow, nice rabbit!", she exclaimed. Puffing out his chest proudly, Longlegs replied,"Thanks! He saw me, but I snatched him up like nothing!" Longlegs has always liked Poppyfur, but never told her how he felt. His fur grew hot whenever she complimented him. She was a pretty tortoise shell, she had a little bit longer hair than him and had large, amber eyes that were soft and kind. Longlegs was the only kit of his litter to survive and Poppyfur had befriended him first. She seemed to know about his little crush. She brushed up against him and mewed softly,"Can you teach me one of your tricks?" Longlegs looked at her with wide eyes, and not even knowing how he got out,"Uhhh? Y-yes!!". She purred softly and walked slowly past him and he leaned into her, and he toppled over as she soared over him, snatching up the rabbit in her teeth.
