reap our souls. Death was awaiting us.

Luna finished talking with HQ, turning to face us. Her eyes had a hint of regret and sadness. It was in contrast with her earlier happy vibe. She was no longer the same person as before. She was scarred.

“Red Scorpions managed to complete their mission. Aside from our ravaged team, Silver Daggers had fallen. HQ wants us to go back. We’re going home, but…” Her voice trailed off.

Salinas rested on a nearby boulder, looking up at Luna. He shook his head, anticipating her answer. “What do they want us to do?”

Luna took a deep breath in before exhaling. “They want us to complete the mission. They’re gonna send us back out.”

“They want us to go back? They’re crazy!” I shouted, not realizing the anger that was building up within me.

“She’s right, it’s impossible. What can five people do against a town of the undead? It’s a suicide mission.” Salinas shouted.

Luna shook her head. “What can we do? They saved and fed us. We have to resolve the debt that we owe them. Otherwise, we’re as good as dead.” Luna told us. “We can’t do anything, so suck it up and let’s get back.”

“Fine,” Salinas muttered as he stood up, eyeing the nearby horde. “They’re going to catch up soon, let’s go.”

“Yeah, they’ll be here soon,” Garfield remarked. “Let’s get going.”

“Life isn’t getting any better, that’s for sure,” I remarked.

“We’re in the apocalypse, we’re dead anyway.” Charlie Lee muttered.

“Warriors, let’s get moving.” Luna directed us. We continued the walk of shame towards HQ, missing half of our members. Nobody’s spirits were at a peak, instead, at a valley. Nothing was going our way.

Episode Twenty Six "Creation S1 E5 - Demon Lord Ajax / Beelzebub"

“Welcome to a new world, otherworlder!” A lady dressed in solid black metallic armor said. She grabbed a blood-red-haired male teen---from the magic circle in front of her---by his collar and brought his face close to hers. Her face was shielded by a medieval helmet, a latch over her eyes. She stared at the teen closely, observing him.

“Where am I?” The teen asked her. He looked to be in his late teens, with a clean-shaven face. He wore a black tee with matching pants and a green set of sneakers. He was scared out of his mind, shivering at her touch.

She lowered him onto the ground before turning around and walking towards a wall. The teen then realized that he was in a cave, a dungeon to be exact. Everywhere were drawings, illustrating a picture to the teen.

The woman turned around and grabbed the teen’s arm, dragging him to the drawing she was staring at. The drawings illustrated twelve demons in a circle around a larger demon. The woman released his hand, bringing her hand to her mouth and clearing her throat. “You are my subordinate, somebody that I summoned to assist me. Those twelve demons are the Twelve Demon Kings and Queens of Hell. In the middle is the almighty Supreme Overlord. He is the ruler of demonkind.” She then took the teen’s attention and placed it on an adjacent wall. The drawing depicted the death of the Supreme Overlord and the conflict between the Twelve Demon Kings and Queens.

“I was summoned to help you in this conflict?” The teen asked.

“Correct, that is your duty.”

“Huh,” He muttered, analyzing the drawings closer. “Is there a way for me to go home?”

“Once I win and become the Supreme Overlord.” She told him.

The teen sighed heavily. He shook his head while his thoughts rattled around in his head. “Well… what do I do?”

The woman looked at the teen strangely, which wasn’t displayed because of the helmet. “You don’t seem too surprised by your current situation. Why is that? Are you truly human or suicidal?”

The teen shook his head while rubbing his nape. “I’ve read a lot of fantasy manga, so I’m not that surprised by this. I… I was expecting to be a hero or fulfill some destiny, but this works out as well… I guess. Anyhow, what are my duties? If it’s killing other demons, then I’m not the right person for this job. If it’s… I don’t know… reading and playing games then I could help.”

“Enough of your jokes, you’ve been summoned by the careful eye of the Supreme One, so don’t disgrace him. He has chosen you, sending your being from your world to mine. He wouldn’t have chosen you if you lacked the talent to fulfill my task.”

“Supreme One? Huh… that reminds me of what my friend Five once told me about. Anyways, what is my first task? Gathering intel? Leveling up?”

“Killing my rival’s subordinate.” The woman told him.

The teen’s jaw fell to the ground. “Kill?”

The woman extended her hand. “My name is Beelzebub.”

“Wait, did you just say to kill somebody?” The teen exclaimed.

“May I say it again; welcome to my world.”

“You’re not hearing me-” He started. He gave up, letting out another sight. “Whatever, I guess. I’m Ajax from Earth.”

“Ajax.” She repeated. “Welcome, Ajax. You are now my newly appointed subordinate, Demon Lord Ajax.”

They shook hands, finalizing a contract that bonded the two. Ajax was now thrown into the war for the title of Supreme Overlord. He was now stuck in this new world, at the mercy of the others until he could get stronger. However, he would be assisted by his master, Beelzebub, one of the Twelve Demon Kings and Queens. The two would now be faced with the threats of the other eleven and their subordinates, who are stronger than them. Only time will tell who becomes the Supreme Overlord.

Episode Twenty Seven "Failed Summoner and Her Weak Summon S1 E5 - Uncaged Beasts (2)"

“Tomorrow, the first round of Uncaged Beasts will commence. The deadline for signing up is in a few hours.” The announcer---an elder dwarf man---announced from on a pedestal. “Make your preparations for the first round!”

Ashanti then turned to face Chase. She noticed him a little jittery, focused on the stage that he’ll be fighting on. “You seem to be excited.”

“Yup, I’m as ready as I’ll ever be. Unfortunately, the fight isn’t until tomorrow.”

“You do realize that you’ll be pitted against strong beasts like Fenrirs, Elemental Felines, and Diamondrock Wolves. It won’t be like fighting a normal house cat, you’re going against beasts that can kill on sight.” She explained.

Chase nodded, half-listening to her words. He was pumped up with adrenaline. He couldn’t wait to fight. He felt like he was strong enough to deal with the bests he was going to be pitted against. “S-Stronger,” Chase then heard Lucas’s voice rattled around in his mind. It reminded him that Lucas asked him to go to his house and continue his training. Now armed with the reminder, he sheepishly turned to face Ashanti.

“You can head back, I’ll meet you at the house.” He asked.

Ashanti jerked her head back and stared at him. “Why is that?” She questioned.

“Uh… I need to… I… I got something to do.” He stammered, running off after settling on a poor excuse. He ran off in the direction of Lucas’ hut, which Ashanti picked up on but didn’t believe. She watched him until he left her sight, disappearing into a row of huts. However, this was peculiar to Ashanti as Chase was new to this world and didn’t know anybody else in the town.

“Unless he ran into my brother…”

“You actually signed up for the tournament?” Lucas asked. Chase nodded his head. “Okay, then let’s continue your training.” He then handed Chase a wooden training sword. “Land a hit on me and it’s your win. You lose if you can’t.”

“You’re fighting barehanded?” Chase asked.

Lucas nodded his head. “I’m a rank B summoner, but I am one of the rare ones that can fight without a weapon.” He then jumped into his fighting pose, waiting for Chase to make the first move.

Chase understood his intention, charging forward. He swung the sword downward, aiming at Lucas’ head. However, Lucas was able to grab the blade and rip the hilt out of Chase’s grip, throwing it aside. Now unarmed, he rolled to the right and grabbed his sword, dashing forward before turning around. He now created distance between himself and Lucas.

“Come at me, what are you scared of? I’m defenseless aren’t I?” Lucas shouted. He then chuckled before charging towards him. Chase brought the sword up to protect himself, but Lucas’s punch shattered the top part of the blade. The sword was broken, resembling a dagger.

Lucas muttered, “Spirit Feet”, under his breath and disappearing from Chase’s sight. He was gone in a flash, but---unbeknownst to Lucas---Chase had his position marked. Unknown to everybody, including himself, Chase had two skills. One of the skills ---Stealth Detection---was activated as soon as Lucas disappeared. It now allowed Chase to track him down.

Armed with his location, he grabbed the sword tightly and swung. He turned his body one hundred and eighty degrees to strike at him. However, this sudden attack didn’t catch him off guard. Lucas grabbed the blade of the sword, discarding it with one hand while the other grabbed his shoulder and pushed him down. Chase landed on the soft grass harshly with Lucas standing over him. Not only had he been defeated, but also disarmed within a second.

“Not bad, you nearly got me,” Lucas remarked, showing a slight cut on the front of his shirt. Chase stood up and smiled, remarking at the sight in front of him. He didn’t cut deep into his shirt, but he still scratched him.

“Does that count as my win.” He asked, smiling foolishly.

“Yeah, you did. You even sensed my presence, which is pretty good for a newbie.”

“Yes! Yes! Yes!” Chase paraded around, exclaiming his lungs out. However, Lucas wasn’t as excited. He turned away from him, hiding a cut. He nicked Lucas, but he had pulled his shirt up to hide it. It wasn’t because he didn’t want Chase to win, but Lucas felt uneasy about it. The strike was full of malicious intent for a brief moment, scaring him.

Meanwhile, Chase remarked to himself. “I’m ready, I want to be stronger.”

“I’m scared,” Ashanti said while sitting at her dining table. “I don’t want Chase to die. Please Atrix, watch over him!” She exclaimed, calling out to the Summoning Goddess. She was desperate. Chase was her pillar of light that she looked up to and she didn’t want him, a summon that she brought into the world long past her prime, to be taken away from him.

“Don’t let him
