She then looked at him with a new look in her eyes. "I had to get a drink." Motioning to the water faountain behind her. "And if I wanted to get rid of you that easily I would have drop kicked you long ago." Markus didn't know if to take this as a compliment or threat to come, but welcomed her words anyway.
"I'm glad you didn't." Mavon quirked and eye brow at him though she didn't say anything.
"Do you have your schedule?" She asked. When he shook his head she turned her attention back to the crowed which was dying down by now. "Then we need to get back to the office which we should be able to in a few minutes." When she turned back to him she caught Markus looking at her. "What?" She said coolly. Markus shook his head.
"It's just one moment you nice to me, then cold, then nice again. I don't understand." He told her. It was then Mavon noticed she still had her hand on his wrist and pulled it back, whipping her palm on her leggings.
"I'm just under a lot of stress." She told him.
The halls have cleared about now and looked vacant. "We should get to the office so we can get your schedule." She told him, motioning him for him to fallow. Silence settled over them, but that was okay with Markus. It gave him time to take in his surroundings.
For a rich school there rilly wasn't much to see. Just old orange lockers aligned the walls and a few stray doors dotting here then there. Mavon made a right turn and led him down another hall. Looming just before him was a big arched doors surrounded by glass windows that looked a little foggy to where you could see colors and shapes but not any detailed object or person.
Mavon turned to look at him, her face impassive "This is the office. Now when I open the doors you have to promise me that you will not

make any smart remarks." She told him. Then she turned around again and pushed open the doors. Markus swore that he saw her smile slyly.

Prepare to be wowwed!

Never in my life had I seen such a sight in my life. It was like looking in some seen in Star Wars.

There was a round desk with four ladies sitting at each point of the compass, all working on something I couldn't see. The room was large and bright with women pushing cart's around filled with...scrolls? Containers? There were dozens of them moving about. I mean the place was buzzing with activity and an actual buzzing noise. I found that my eyes were drawn upwards. A massive storm cloud was clinging to the ceiling, flashing and writhing. I saw a glint of gold and a thumping noise came into sound. It was then that I saw that there was golden pipes every where that were sending stuff through them. I couldn't help but be amazed and looked at Mavon. Her eyebrow was cocked up in expectation, as if she was waiting for my reaction. I didn't say anything but stared at the place all around me. It was breath taking, but before I could do anything or say anything (If I could) Mavon was speaking. "Common we need to get your schedule." Motioning for me to fallow. Falling in step beside her, we began to walk to the center of the room where the round desk was. One of the ladies looked up and right away I knew something was different about her. Instead of flesh it looked like she had plastic for skin. Her eyelids kept flickering as if she had something in her eye. Then her lips moved. "Can I help you Miss Langushtiva?" The voice that came out was not human at all. It sounded like metal scrapping in on the surface of marble.
Mavon glanced at me and smirked at my shocked face then turned her attention to the woman/thing in front of us. "I need..." she looked at me. "Kress." I filled in for her. "I need Markus Kress's schedule." The woman blinked rapidly, turned to the computer and began to type as rapidly as her eyelids. After a while there was a click, sputter,

andding

. My eyes fallowed where the noise was coming from to see a black paper coming out from something that looked like a printer. The woman grabbed the paper with long fingers that looked like there were knots coming out from the sides where the knuckles were. "Here you go Miss Langushtiva." She said passing it to Mavon. A shiver went up my spine when I saw how fast she moved. Like a cheetah catching her prey. Creepy.
