Why does it seem to take forever before we move on to the next thing we need to do? I know it feels like that son, but just remember that were here in South America. It may take a lot of time before things happen, but it will happen. Just remember that we will be going to the Amazon forest. Just think about all the things we will be doing on our trip here in South America.
Well guys I have your spending money here. I will hold onto it for you. When you want to use some of this money just let me know. Well now that I got yalls spending money, let’s go to baggage claim. We are finally on our way to the next thing we need to do.
Our items will be at number 2. I can’t wait to get my stuff and move on to the next thing to do. Here we are in baggage claim. It looks like our stuff is the only thing left on the belt. What do you expect? We were the last ones to get off the plane. We also took our time getting down here. That is true.
It seems like that no matter where we go since we left home we seem to be taking our time. Why have we been taking our time? I don’t know son. I was asking because I hate when we take our time. When we take our time I get mad because it takes more time before things happen.
You know how I hate when things take longer than usual because we take our time.
Justin tired of hearing Mangello argue about wasting time decides to go ahead and slap Mangello. Hey what was that for Justin? Well it was for you arguing. You’re talking about wasting time right. Right. Well talking about wasting time is wasting time off this trip.

Chapter 5
Getting to the Hotel
Let’s get from baggage claim to car rental. Let’s get there so we can be on our way to the hotel.
You know son I’m mad at you. You will be in big trouble when we get to the hotel. You will also be in trouble Justin for fueling the fire even more. If I was the worst father on earth I would cancel yalls trip and send you home on the next available flight which would be at ten tonight. Since I’m not a really mean father I’m letting yall continue the trip with us. So don’t screw up or we will send you back home as soon as possible. Yall boys got it. I got it Mr.Sea. I got it dad. Good boys Lets go.
We need to finally get this show on the road. Finally were moving on again. Let’s just not say finally because that is what fuels his fire. Yall two got it? Got it
I don’t know why I haven’t asked yet, but how long it will take to get to the hotel once we leave the airport? Once we leave the rental car place we will be on the road at least two days and six hours. God lee! That is a long ride to get to the hotel. I know it is a long ride. Just think about what we will do once we get to the hotel. Yeah I can just imagine it.
Well which car company are we going to get our car from? Well we are going to get our car from National. Well the sign says to go this way to National to get our car.
Which car are we going to get? We are going to try and get a car with a global positioning system. It is not really for on the way there. It will be used more for on the way back. It is more on the way back because I don’t want to have to write down all the reversed directions for getting us back to the airport.
So what if they don’t have a car with a gps in it? You know I haven’t thought about that. I’ll just have to sit down and reverse all the directions so we will be able to get back to the airport and be able to get home. I know. I don’t want to be stuck in South America any longer than those thirty days were already going to be here. I know. Let’s just hope that they have a car with a gps so we don’t have to worry about me having to reverse all the directions about getting back to this airport.
We are finally here at National car rental. Hello madam. Hey. We have got a reservation. I see. What is the name? The name is Mr.Sea. I see it right here. I will need you to sign some things before you go look for a car. I am happy to sign some forms.
Hey honey, while I’m here signing forms why don’t you and the boys go look for a vehicle, so when I’m done with these forms the car will be ready for us to go. I will. Come on boys let’s go look at some cars and find out which one we want. Okay we are coming.
We want one with a gps. So remember if you find a good car that has a gps let me know. We will let you know if we find a good car with a gps. That is the spirit boys. It is good yall got spirit especially since not too long ago yall were fighting. Well Mr.Sea we bounce back from stuff like that pretty easily. That is what I like to hear from you boys. Keep that positivness going. You will need it on this trip.

I just want to let you know that when were in the forest we will be seeing some Indians. Man that is going to be so cool. I can’t wait to meet the Indians. We will meet them on our tour of the forest. We will see them on our last full day of the tour. There one of a few group of Indians that will let us come and see them. Most of the Indians that still exist naturally don’t let people around because they’re afraid they will be taken away just like some of their ancestors were taken away. So it is a special honor to see them then? Why you bet it is. We’re going to do what a lot of people want to do, but are not able to do. So you better consider yourself lucky you’re even getting to do this tour. I can’t believe we are one of a few people getting to do what most people want to probably do, but are not able to do.
Now there is a strong feeling coming from within me that I never knew existed before today. That feeling is excitement of a rare moment that so few have been able to do. That is what I’m feeling. Well I love that feeling.
How do you feel about meeting Indians Justin? Well I feel excited, but then again we are going to visit people who live in the woods there entire life. That is a good point, but I would love to see how they leave.
