Two months after i got out the hospital they had a welcome home party for me my best friend Royal even flew in from Arizona to see me i was so happy to see her. "What happened to you." she asked me "Well my dad got drunk and thought i was my mom and tried to kill me and ended up committing suicide but you can't tell anyone im scared of what my dad might think." i told her. "Im glad you trusted me enough to tell me but you've gotta tell them sometime." she told me. "I know but how do i tell them." i asked "Just tell them when everybody leave." she said. "im so glad to see you." i told her "I have good news." she said "What is it." i asked excitedly "Im moving back to Ohio." she said "Thats great its been boring around here with you.' i told her as we went downstairs to join the party. "Za'Rhia how do you feel honey." my mom asked me. "I feel okay." i told her. "Your dad wants to see you his in the garden." my mom said to me "Ok." i replied i ran out to the garden to talk to Ryquan "Za'Rhia have a seat" he said looking worried so i sat down i looked at him i was kinda worried too "Whats wrong." i asked "It's about your father." he said as he grabbed my hand gently "What about him i thought u said he was dead." i said shaking a little. "He's not dead he suffered alot of head tromma but he is still alive and well he is here to see you." he said i looked in his eyes and it looked as if he was crying. I didn't know what to say so i hugged Ryquan to try to help him feel better. He wrapped his arms around me to let me know it helped. He pulled me away and said "this isn't going to be easy but your mom went to court while you were in the hospital and well you have to stay with your dad for a while at least until the judge orders us custody of you." he said as a tear rolled down his face "What ever it is that i did i promise i wont do it again please don't send me away i thought you wanted me here." i said as i let my tears go. "Oh no Zay we want you here more than anything sweetheart this isn't something we chose to happen and think of it like this your only gonna be there for a month if we get full custody you can came home." he said trying to cheer me up. "But what if you don't then i'll be stuck living with him for the rest of my life." i said in return. "Zay i know this is hard for you but please just hang in there for me." he said attempting to cheer me up again. "I can't." i said. "Then do it for Daniel he cares so much about you he wouldn't want anything to happen to you." he said i busted in to tears yet again at the thought of my brother "I'll do this for Daniel." i said as i got up to leave. Ryquan stood up and hugged me as hard as he could "I love you Za'Rhia and i promise i wont let him take you from me." He whispered in my ear. "I love you too Ryquan." i replied i walked back into the front yard and saw my dad standing on the front porch i tried to dry my tears before i approached him. i lightly taped him on the shoulder and asked in the most politely way "Why do you want me so badly when you never wanted me in the first place." "Because your my daughter and im not gonna let some man just take you from me." he said looking drunk "he not some man he is my dad he was there when you weren't he wanted me when you didn't ok so don't come here talking bad about him cuz you don't even know him." i replied he raised his hand and slapped me across the face at that moment Rysean came around the corner and saw me on my knees crying "What happened Are you ok sweetheart talk to me who did this to you." he said looking very worried. As i struggled to pull myself together i pointed at my dad. Ryquan stood up and punched him in the face and thats when the fight started. about an hour later the police showed up and locked up Ryquan. my dad packed my stuff and drove off with me in the car i cried the whole way to his house. "So you really like that guy huh?. my dad asked me. "yeah i mean he's been there for me through everything." i said thinking about all the good times we had in the past. "so you would do anything for him?" he asked "Well yeah." i said as we walked in the front door "I'll keep that in mind." he said with a smile.
i went up stairs to put my things away when he came upstairs "So lets gets some ground rules established you will cook clean and anything else i want you to do." he said as he got closer to me looking me up and down biting his bottom lips i could almost feel what he was thinking so i backed up he slowly got closer until he had me pinned against a wall he started touching me so i pushed him away he grabbed my arms and held them above my head he threw me onto the bed and well raped me.

Two months after being here i had alot more bruises. And my wrists had rope marks on them i was so confused and scared so i called my mom. "Mommy i wanna come home." i cried "Oh sweetheart i know and i want you home but you cant." she said sounding as if she was already crying. "What is he doing to you?" she asked "He touches me at night and i don't like it." i said as i heard him walking up stairs "Ok sweetheart where gonna get you out of." but before she could finish i hung up in fear that he would hear me talking to her. I quickly ran in my closet i would hide in my closet for hours. I haven't eaten much in the past month but bags of candy i hide in my room. later that night while he was asleep i packed a few pairs of clothes and headed out the front door. i ran off swiftly into the night.i ran all the way to my friend Tyler's house i threw a small pebble at his window as he opened it he asked "what are you doing here its like 12am shouldn't you be home." "thats where im going i was just wondering if you had 3.50 for the bus." i asked ever so nicely. "Yeah hold on let me go get it." he said as he signaled me to come around the front of the house. after getting to money from Tyler i got on the bus and finally got home at 3am.i knocked on the front door hoping my brother was up. Daniel opened the door and hugged me like he hasn't seen me in two years. i cried on his shoulder i was so happy to see my brother. i quietly went upstairs to my room and layed in my bed i missed my room and everything look exactly how it did when i left my bed made the way i always made it my teddy bears still sitting on my headboard, as i drifted off to sleep i heard a load smash and to my surprise he followed me and i ran frantically to my brothers room. there he was standing there with a gun to my brother head i screamed for my dad but i remembered he got locked up. and so i screamed for my mom and she did answer me. And the only thing i could think was that she was dead. "Why are you doing this to me what do u want." i asked. "I just want someone to love me." he said starting to tear up "let my brother go and i promise i will stay with you." i said knowing what i was risking. "Ok." my dad said as he released my brother who then came stumbling to me i hugged him as tight as my weak bruised arms could stand i was so happy that he was ok but where was my mom. I turned my head only to hear a gun shot. My bothers back was wet and warm. I looked at my hand and it was red he looked at me and began to cough up blood. "Daniel Nooo." i cried and at that moment Rysean busted through the door and knocked the gun out my father's hand i cried and cradled my brothers fragile body "Please don't die on me just hang in there please." "Za'Rhia where's your mom?" Ryquan asked. "I don't know." he ran into my moms room and all i heard was a loud yell. About an ten minutes later the cops arrived if they hadent
