“Seems like it was yesterday when I saw your face, you told me how proud you were, but I walked away, If only I knew what I know today” And can be today, yesterday or tomorrow that you hurt someone & sometimes you won’t even know it. “ I would hold you in my arms, I would take the pain away, Thank you for all you’ve done, Forgive all your mistakes, There’s nothing I wouldn’t do, To hear your voice again, Sometimes I want to call you but I know you won’t be there” Sometimes you can hurt someone so bad that the next day they won’t be here & then you wish you could say sorry, forgive them for their mistakes, thank them for the things they do, ect. “ I’m sorry for blaming you for everything I just couldn’t do, And I’ve hurt myself by hurting you” Yea you’re going to feel sorry & you’re going to feel the blame but sometimes feeling the blame & guilt can change who you are. “ Some days I feel broke inside, but I won't admit
Sometimes I just want to hide 'cause it's you I miss, You know it's so hard to say goodbye when it comes to this” You are going to feel broken inside & it’s can be scary to admit but try & I’ll tell you, you won’t regret it, sometimes they might not say they accept your apology but be glad you actually said sorry. “ Would you tell me I was wrong? Would you help me understand? Are you looking down upon me? Are you proud of who I am? There’s nothing I wouldn’t do to have just one more chance to look into your eyes & see you looking back” There may be times when you miss them & never got to say you're sorry but always know that they're looking down upon you forgiving you & trying to help you through the way. “ If I had just one more day, I would tell you how much that I’ve missed you since you’ve been away, Oh it’s dangerous, it’s so out of line to try & turn back time” Yea you’re going to miss them & it is dangerous hurting someone especially taking it too far. You’re going to want to turn back time or even stop it in order to save someone. Just help stop the hurt & make a difference.
