"Ready or not, here I come!" meowed a stone grey she-cat with a red collar named Ruby. She leapt towards a blue blanket and found a black tom with white paws and a white chest and a bright blue collar underneath it. "Found you, Socks!" she meowed to him. A lovely stone grey she-cat with a red collar that looked much like Ruby, named Quince (Quince is the kits's Mama) was watching her kits play. A black tom with a white left paw and a purple collar named Tiny (Mama named him that since he's the runt of the litter) started to giggle after he heard Ruby find Socks, and Ruby heard him. Tiny was hiding in the cat bed. Ruby leaped onto Tiny with her paw on his head. "AHH! MAMA!" Tiny meowed loudly. "RUBY! SOCKS! COME HERE AT ONCE!" called Mama angrily. "Yes, Mama?" Ruby meowed, acting as if she was innocent, Socks following her towards Mama. "You shouldn't play so roughly with your brother!" Mama meowed to the kits. "But Mama, we don't like him! He's too stupid and weak!" Ruby meowed, Socks nodding in agreement. Tiny heard that part of what they were saying, but didn't listen to the rest. "All I want is for my brother and sister to like me. It's not my fault I'm small! I'd grow if I could!" Tiny thought to himself. Later on, Mama took her kits outside to play. All three of them loved
being outside, because it was like a whole new world to them. Minutes later, Tiny saw Ruby and Socks playing with a feather tied to a string, held and twirled around by their Twoleg. "I don't think they're doing it right... Why are they just batting at it like that?" Tiny thought to himself. He ran towards Ruby and Socks, ad instead of batting at the feather, he leaped into the air and caught
the feather! "I got it! I got it! The powerful Tiny has caught the prey!" Tiny meowed as he ran towards the bush. He sat down and chewed on the feather, but then Socks snatched it from him, Ruby close behind. "Your no fun. You don't play right." Ruby meowed with a scowl on her face. (To be continued, I'll write more when I'm ready. Make sure to check back for updates!)
