Episode One "The Sword of Ashbringer"

Tin woke up in a new world. With a confused look, he looked around the field and noticed a new environment. “Wasn’t I just in my room? Where am I now?” Tin thought. He doesn’t remember how he got in this new world. He looked around and noticed a cow with bull horns. “A bullcow?” Tin asked himself. “Isn’t that from Atlas Online?” He said aloud. “That can’t be! This can’t be Earth! Am I inside “Atlas Online?” Tin shouted. His brain was being fried due to all of the questions running around his mind. He then started hearing grunts. At first, it was one, but the sounds soon multiplied. “Aren’t those the sounds of goblins?” Tin asked himself. He was indeed correct. Ten goblins appeared behind him. “Goblins!” He shouted as he looked at the goblins that stared dead in his eyes. They then charged at him waving their weapons in the air. This scared Tin enough to make him run. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to go far. He was soon backed up into a corner created by a large deep hole and a gigantic rock. The ten goblins were closing onto Tin. “How did I defeat them in the game?” He asked himself. He then noticed a sword rested on atop the rock. He scrambled to climb the gigantic size rock and escape the goblins. “Isn’t this the sword of Izeken?” He asked himself. “It’s one of the most powerful swords that can be found in Atlas Online. Why is it stuck in a rock instead of inside the demon king’s castle?” Tin thought. He looked down at the goblins below him and suddenly a jolt of electricity went throughout his body. He then heard a male voice announce the words “One Shot Kill activated.” The words were said seemingly from within his mind. “The announcer! An a.i that teaches you about skills and weapons that was essential for many players of Atlas Online.” Tin thought. “One Shot Kill?” He asked himself. “Well, let me try it out.” He thought. He then grabbed the sword and slowly pulled it out of the rock. “It’s like the story about King Arthur.” Tin then held the sword in front of him and muttered a prayer before going in for the kill. He jumped off the rock and sliced a goblin. He then looked at the next goblin with murderous intent. He then sliced one after another making sure that there are no survivors left. Then he heard the announcer’s voice again. “One Shot Kill deactivated.” He then passed out from the stress the skill put on his body.

Episode Two "Free The Slaves"

Tin woke up a few hours later to see that the sun had already set. He looked up at the sky, noticing the three moons of Atlas. The first moon, known as Izeken, was the largest and the color of the sea. Next to Izeken was the medium-sized green moon, Virice. The last of the moons, resembling Earth’s and was even referenced by the creators of Atlas Online, is the Cheese Moon.

Tin ignored the moons, standing up and grabbing ahold of Ashbringer---which was laying next to him---and tried to adjust his eyes to his dimly lit surroundings.

It’s too dark to see anything, he thought. Is the Doompit the same as the one in the game?

He looked down at the ground and noticed footprints. They didn’t resemble human footprints, instead, belonging to goblins. However, he wasn’t sure what to do with the footprints. He couldn’t see far and he had forgotten about the location of nearby towns. He was dead-blind.

“Activate tracker?” The announcer asked

“Tracker?” Tin repeated. “Why would I track the goblins’ footsteps? It’s not like going to their hideout would help me.”

“Quest available. Do you wish to see it?” The robotic announcer asked.

“Yes,”

“Quest’s information is
save the elven children locked up in the goblins’ hideout. Failure to complete the quest will result in a ‘small’ electric shock. This electric shock will disable you for twenty-four hours. Rewards are two elven children and ten silver coins. This quest will go by the name of Free The Slaves.”

“Elven children?” He questioned. Elves were never known to appear on the human continent. Elves restricted themselves to their continent to avoid discrimination from the other races.

Tin then accepted the quest. “Activate tracker!”

“Tracker activated.”

A red line appeared in front of him from one footprint to another. He followed the red line until coming across a cave. The cave’s entrance was protected by two goblin guards, dressed in stolen adventurer gear. Tin then deactivated Tracker and brandished Ashbringer. He brought the mythical sword close to his chest. He knew about a secret sub-skill that nobody had learned about before. “Activate Silent Killer.” The sword concealed his presence, allowing him to walk up to the guards without worry. The guards couldn’t hear, see, or sense him. It was almost like nobody was in front of them.

He got behind them before deactivating Silent Killer. He reactivated the sword’s Fire Slash, charring the guards’ back within microseconds. They were dead before they knew what hit them.

Tin ventured farther into the dimly lit cave, coming across blood and decomposing flesh scattered on the floors and walls. He reactivated Silent Killer as he tracked down the goblins by their revolting scent. He got closer to them, reaching the main room of the intertwining cave. Goblins cheered and roared as they danced around their prey; an elven boy and girl. The boy was putting up a fight but the goblins didn’t see him as a threat. They laughed at him, roaring in laughter.

The elven boy wasn’t fazed by the laughter, continuing to protect the girl. He jabbed his dagger at the goblins but couldn’t scratch them. The goblins, however, continued to roar as they waited for the boy to collapse from stress. They were going to slaughter him and use the girl for their benefit. The elven boy, on the other hand, wouldn't allow that.

šThese goblins are the same as the ones from Goblin Slayer.” He thought aloud. The goblins were humiliating their prey and increasing the fear they implanted in their mind. šActivate One-Shot Kill.” He muttered under his breath. He knew that the skill had a strong backlash that nearly made him faint after one use, but he wanted to save the elven children. He pushed himself to save them.

He grabbed a rock from the ground and hurled it at the goblins, smacking one of them in the head. The goblin fell forward, hitting the ground head-first. The other goblins reacted quickly, arming themselves. They moved their heads around wildly for the culprit, but couldnÂŽt sense Tin.

As they were scattered, Tin began to move, killing goblins that were on their own with a simple slash. He moved from one corner to another, slicing goblins in half without revealing his position. The leader of the goblins, a mutated blue goblin with a slight height increase, shook his cane and pointed at a section of the wall. Tin froze. The goblin leader had discovered him instantly, even though he was still invisible.

Tin deactivated Silent Killer and charged towards the goblin leader, activating Fire Slash, and charring the leaderÂŽs corpse within a second. Tin then used the same attack against the remaining goblins, slaughtering them all.

They were all dead. The only living things in the room were the elven children and Tin. The goblins and dead bodies of adventurers--male and dead---littered the ground. It was a putrid sight to see.

Tin motioned for the elven children to follow him outside of the cave. They hesitated at first, but they had no other options. There was only one exit to the cave. The children then slowly followed him out into the crisp night air. However, without warning, they collapsed to their knees and began crying. They were expecting the worst from the situation.

Tin pitied them but he wasn't able to help them out. He was new to the world. Also, the stress from using the skills had piled up. He passed out, there and then. The elven children glanced over at their saviorÂŽs body, collapsed from the stress.

Episode Three "Arlin & Siora"

Tin woke up hours later, the sun blasting him from above. He stood up and glanced over at his side at the siblings. “What are you two doing here?”

The boy glanced over at Tin and glared at him. He laid against the entrance of the cave, his sister laying against his shoulder. Tin chuckled before looking up at the sun. He basked himself in the warmth.

He then stood up and peered into the cave, following the torches to the main room. Littered on the ground were quarter-shaped crystals. A crystal even larger than the others laid where the goblin leader was defeated. “Monster Crystals can be picked up and exchanged for coins, the currency of Atlas Online, in towns. Begin currency tutorial?” The announcer asked.

“Skip,” Tin muttered as he began picking up the crystals. Alongside the crystals was an adventurer's backpack, filled with patches and stained in blood---most likely from the owner.

Tin dumped the crystals in the faded red bag before jumping up and heading towards the exit. However, he noticed a few weapons lying on the ground; a collection of near-broken weapons were next to a deceased body. Tin ignored the body, to the best of his ability, and picked out a few weapons. He brought the weapons out of the cave and handed them to the siblings. “Here,” He muttered.

The boy grabbed a dagger from the weapons Tin brought and pointed it at him. Tin raised his hands and took a few steps backward. The boy then yanked the weapons closer to him. He gripped a shortsword, while keeping his eyes on Tin, and passed the dagger to his sister.

The Ashbringer sword remained by his side, holstered in a sheathe on his back. The sword remained quiet as the boy stared at it. Tin noticed his stare and looked down. “I’m not here to hurt you. This is for my own protection.” He declared.

Tin turned away from the boy, showing his back to him. “Is the quest completed?”

“Congratulations, you have saved the elven children. Your rewards are ten silver coins and two elven children. Accept?” The announcer shouted. “What an awful creature for disturbing
