Chapter One

November 22, 2012

Seventeen year old Victoria Abbott was on the Washington train coming home from doing some holiday shopping, the train was full of passengers, it was a balmy forty two degrees out, so everyone on the train was bundled up in their winter clothing attire. As the train stopped at Reston station, a young, Caucasian woman, who looked to be in her middle to late twenties, walked onto the train. The woman had light brown, short hair and plaid pants, a black leather jacket, a white shirt underneath and a green backpack on. Her white skin was smooth and bright, her eyes barely staying open for five minutes, her smile brief but warming. She stood in the middle of the train car, her name was Jophiel. She stood in the middle of the train car, her eyes closed, a slight smile on her face.

“Behold, I speak of things to come, chaos, death, destruction, but fear not, for there is no fear with those whom trust in God.” Jophiel said in a calm voice. “Go to God, go with God. Put all your trust in him, for the end is coming, the end is near and for all those who trust and believe in him, they will have eternal life, after this life. The end is coming—death, destruction.”

Every eye on the train was on her, as she remained standing in the middle of the train floor, with her eyes closed, some laughed secretly, some watched her with intense hypnotism—especially Victoria. The next station, Springfield, the train stopped and Jophiel exited the train car. As Victoria watched her exit the train car, she looked with extreme obsession but could find the young woman nowhere on the train platform. Victoria’s eyes widened with shock as she searched with her eyes for Jophiel, but couldn’t find her anywhere. Victoria gasped slightly and looked with shock as the doors to the train closed and the train sped ahead. Victoria continued to stare out the window, with a look of shock. Had she seen what her mind was telling her she had seen?

“Whoa, holy shit.” Victoria said under her breath, as she looked down at the floor of the train, still with her perplexed and slightly shocked look.

As the train sped on to the next station destination, there came a STRONG, violent shaking from underneath the train, the vibrations of the shaking, went straight through Victoria’s body. A loud roar accompanied the violent shaking from underneath the train. Immediately every face on the train began looking left and right, with puzzled expressions that were mixed in with fear.

“What the hell is that!” One woman yelled, from a few seats away from Victoria.

“It feels like an earthquake!” A man yelled, who was sitting behind Victoria.

Indeed it was an earthquake, and it was an earthquake that was getting stronger with each passing second. As the many ones on the train began screaming and yelling in fear, as the train hobbled and tilted from left to right on the tracks, and shook violently, Victoria gasped loudly and looked out her train window with fear. She could see the darkness of the inside of the tunnel, from out the train window, but she also saw a bright, red light, a light that was redder than anything she had ever seen in her life. That was perplexing to her, but what made her fearful was what she saw from within the red light. There were shapes and forms within the red light, shapes and forms that Victoria couldn’t even conceive of. The red light had shapes and forms of hideous and demonic demons, demons with demonic faces, and it seemed as the train sped faster and faster down the tracks, during the midst of the earthquake, this red light, with the demonic forms and shapes followed the train, chasing after the train, as if chasing after a fugitive. Suddenly, the earthquake became stronger and within minutes, the train car that Victoria was in crashed off the tracks. Everyone on the train screamed loudly with fear, as several people were tossed to and from violently, within the train car. Victoria was tossed far across the train to the back of the car she was in, her head hitting the steel railing HARD. She winced loudly in pain, as the train crashed violently into a nearby wall, fire bursting from the front and side of the train wildly. Victoria looked with wide eyes as she saw the other following train cars being somehow violently pushed towards her and the other passengers who were in the front train car with her. Immediately, several of the passengers ran here and there frantically, to avoid from being crushed and killed by the speeding train that was being violently pushed towards them, some of the passengers even tried opening the doors of the train car to escape, but it led to no avail. As the train closed in closer and closer to Victoria, each of the passengers were crushed and killed, as the train car crushed into them and over top of them, until Victoria was the only passenger left alive. She didn’t have minutes, only seconds, seconds before fate came to claim her, seconds before her life was over, seconds before the start of horrific chaos, death and destruction…
