All of the maids and other workers of the house come scurrying out into the living room. They bow and then finally I myself bow. Demetri bows while He says ‘Sire’. I giggle and Shadow looks at me with curiosity. He steps closer to me and I drop to my knees. He smiles at me and motions me to stand up. He touches my cheek and I breath softly.
He is so sincere with his actions and so dear to others. He is perfection in every way possible. He is the evil incarnate himself wearing a mask of an angel. For He may seem sweet but He looks sly at the same time. Whet to do about this situation is unclear to me now. He takes my hand softly and kisses the back of it.
“Are you alright?” His eyes change from red to a lightning blue

They begin to talk about guy stuff as usual. That is the only thing you cannot take away from a man when He is turned. Sports. Well after that, I start to clean the walls and doorways of the hallway. When I was cleaning the door closes to their conversation, Shadow intentionally looked at me.

I automatically knew it was Demetri’s rage. I shifted my gaze to Demetri’s and I just stared at him with adoration without actually showing it.
His face said to leave now before I got hurt so that is just what I did. Later on that night, I hear a door in the house slam. I walk into the hallway with my thin robe on. I draw it around me as I walk through the hallway silently. I feel it get cold as ice as I proceed further down the corridor. I knock on the door that when I stand in front of it is the coldest. I hear footsteps come towards the door. I stand there freezing.
The door opens up widely and the cold air comes blasting out. I grip the side of the door and grasp it for support. Shadow’s arms go around me and I moan in protest. He drags me in his room, leaving the door open for everyone to see. He lays me under his covers which are warm. He lays down with me under his covers and I snuggle closer to him for even more warmth.
“I shouldn’t be doing this” I chatter through my teeth
“Why not? Are you afraid of me?” He asks sincerely
“Me being afraid of you is a JOKE. You are so kind.” I chuckle
“Do not MOCK ME” He puts force into those last two words and I shiver out of fear
“Now I am.” I push him away from me completely
“Don’t be. I am sorry. It is a natural reflex for me.” He apologizes
“Alright I forgive you” I snuggle back up to him
“Why shouldn’t you be doing this?” He didn’t forget the question
“Demetri is going to kill me if He finds me in bed with you without a reason” His eyes twinkle with an idea
“What if I told him I took you to bed?” He suggests with his hands wrapping around my waist and pulling me closer to him
“I would be dead, He would be pissed, and you would have never been welcomed back to this realm again.” I sigh and shriek
“I go wherever I please” He has anger in his voice
“I SAID NO!” I yell and it echoes in the hallway
I hear soft footsteps approach the door. I do not look up. I bury my head into his chest. I hear the anger in his whisper when He calls Shadow’s name. Shadow pushes me away like I am asleep. I grumble and open my eyes.
“What’s wrong?” I say softly
“Nothing go back to sleep I will be back in a second.” Shadow strokes my hair out of my face
“Your room is so fucking cold teddy bear.” I grumble and turn towards the door
My eyes lock with Demetri’s and I swear I almost screamed. He looks angry. I mean super angry. Hell was sitting in his eyes and I feel it burn my eyes out. I rise slowly, kicking the covers off of me. He looks at me with more rage. I go to him and curtsey.
“It is not what it looks like” Shadow vouches for me
“He is lying. He isn’t trying to cause any problems. He took me to bed and it was against his own consent. I sought him out which I shouldn’t have. I should have asked you about it and I shouldn’t have forced myself on him. I truly apologize Master and Sire Shadow. Forgive me for my rudeness and disobedience.” I conjure up a story and act humbly because I get on my knees and grovel before them both.
“Rise.” Demetri orders and I get up slowly just to meet his gaze
“Master I am sorr-” He slaps me sending me across the room
“Demetrius Picasso. Please do not take it out on her.” Shadow begs him for mercy
“Maddeline Dragonmire…Get here now!” He bellows
“Yes Master” I shakily stand up and go to him but Shadow stands in my way
“Move Shadow” I shove him back slightly
“Do not go to him I beg of you” He begs me
“I have to for He is my Master.” I brush past him
He grabs my arm and twirls me back into his warm embrace and kisses me. He kisses me like no other man ever will. He lets his true feelings flow through and I am overwhelmed. I push him back, away from me. I cant get him out of my mind.
“And what am I to you?” He asks heartbroken

“And you are the woman who I never should have fell in love with. The woman who I should have never let convince me that there was more to life than just hate, anger, greed, myself, my throne, my entire being.” He responds and I drop to my hands and knees
“It seems we both fucked up” I sigh and stand up
“Get to your room” Demetri orders
“Yes Master. Goodbye Sha- Sire” I bid them farewell and leave to my own room
“Shadow we need to talk” I hear Demetri say just before I go into my room
I have to know what they’re saying! I concentrate on my being. I feel my being split apart. I feel the pain and it excruciating. I scream my lungs out and I hear light footsteps. Cherry comes in to ask what happened but she creams herself. Shadow and Demetri come rushing in. Shadow runs to my aid but Demetri tells him not to touch me.
“Let me go.” Shadow fights Demetri for stopping him
“She will kill you. Do you not see she is a Were?” Demetri states the obvious
“I am not a Were!” I screech but it comes out as a growl

“Please no Shadow not you. Anyone but you. Don’t look at me like that.” I step back
“What do you expect me to do? I must kill you now.” Hate is in his voice
“Let me go. I will never come back just let me go.” I beg and walk backwards towards the window

“Demetri tell him something” I beg Demetri for his assistance
“Sorry mutt” He acts like I disgust you

Demetri follows closely behind. Shadow throws me on the bed and I immediately become scared. He looks me in the eye and smiles evilly at me.
“What are you going to do to me?” I ask stuttering
“Whatever I feel like.” He sounds so cocky
“Don’t hurt me” I scoot back into the dashboard

“Lay back and relax. I will be as gentle as I can be.” He lays me back and hangs over me while supporting himself on his arms
