forehead and I close my eyes. I hear my door softly close and start to dream. It’s dark and I look for the light. I see Blaze’s cabin and the light is turned on. I knock on the door and He looks into my eyes with regret. I gasp and see another woman in his bed and the evidence of sex in the air was there. I cry and run away from him. As I start to walk further in the darkness, Demetri’s house appears. I knock on his door and Shadow answers it. He looks like a psycho so I run away from there too.
As I go into the darkness, I am confronted with an unfamiliar place. Its like a house, but a cave at the same time. A man stands there with orange eyes. He is standing over the body of a man. A man I once called Father. He is starting to falter until I catch him. He asks me my name and I say Maddeline. I ask him his and He said that I will know him in reality soon. I sigh and lay him down on the bed and He pulls me with him. I start to protest until I see a ring on my finger. Am I married to this man? I stare at him in disbelief and He starts to laugh. I fall asleep in his arms and soon wake up to reality.
“What time is it?” I asked in a daze
“Breakfast dear. What would you like?” Demetri makes a personal effort to make me as comfortable as possible.
“Something with meat. If you don’t have it, I can go hunting. Either is fine by me.” I shrug and stand up with my robe slightly open
“You unknowingly tempt me.” He says softly
“I am sorry but I can’t help you there. Those are your own feelings and I have nothing to do with them. I have a King to get back to so I can only stay for the day.” I inform him
“You are…married? To whom?” He sounds more hurt than shocked
“Not married. He is a King though. He is the king of a vast forest in which I was lost for several days in my wolf form. I promised I would go back to him when my work here was done. I should be done soon so, yeah.” I explain
“Maddeline…” Demetrius says softly
“Yes Dinka?” I answer
“Would you have married me if I asked you. When you were a vampire, that is.” He asks me staring at me the whole time; never letting his gaze go anywhere else
“Truthfully, I wouldn’t know. In a way I was in love with you. But in others, I hated your guts. I do not mean to be harsh on you Demetrius Picasso but, you were just an indecisive man to me. I and others, including yourself, never even knew what you wanted half the time.” I admitted
“A man is here to see you. He is waiting in the living room when you’re ready.” Demetri leaves me to my thoughts
I put on an orange shirt and navy colored pants. I put on my grey flip flops and walk out. I hear Demetri’s laughter along with some else’s. I walk out and meet the gaze of the man I saw in my dream. His orange eyes follow my every step.
“My dear wife…” He starts
“I thought you said you aren’t married” Demetri stands up and faces me
“I’m not. Not that I am aware of” I stare into his eyes but all I see is hate and anger
“Whatever. I shouldn’t have asked you about what we spoke of earlier anyway. Goodbye.” He shoulders me out of his way
“And the answer would’ve been yes Dinka. If you did ask me.” I say softly
“Too late for that now isn’t’ it.” I hear it echo from the hallway
I turn my attention back to this stranger.
“WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU!?” I yell in distress
“Now, don’t tell me you don’t remember us getting married in one of your past lives…” I shake my head
“Well then- my name is Anthony Dollomaris. But you can call me Anthony Dinozzo. Whichever one fits your fancy.” He laughs
“In this “form” we aren’t married. Go to hell and leave me alone.” I stand up and head for my room
“Wait-” He grabs my hand and I am spun into a memory
The ballroom is decorated in black and gold. The pillars are just the most beautiful thing ever created. Suddenly, my view is on a couple. The woman is dancing with Anthony and making s conversation. He makes a signal to his butler and the man carries in another young lady to dance with him. The atmosphere changes instantly and He becomes intrigued with her. When she left the masquerade, He searched for her far and wide, but He never found her.
She appeared only to him in a dream. She told him that she will be in town tomorrow and if He couldn’t find her then, He will never see her again. He went to the town square and found her looking at ribbons. He crept up behind her and said the most unlikely thing to her:
“And which do you prefer: Blue or Yellow?” She laughed and turned into his arms
Their relationship of dating went on for about a year and He finally proposed. The evening after their anniversary, she went missing. Like missing off the face of the planet. He cried his eyes out and was on the brink of death when an old man cam into his room. The old man told him not to worry for she will be reincarnated into another woman. Anthony responded that He will not be alive by then. The old man had other ideas and changed him. That old man, was my Father.
I stop touching his hand and open my eyes. He is kissing me and I didn’t even notice. I push him away and scream at him. My arm starts to burn and then a tattoo is formed on it. In a way it was kind of cool but, the only issue is that I didn’t know what it meant. Imprint
