their desire until I was perfect in their eyes. A controlled ripper was what I was, what they wanted anyway.

Someone who could slaughter a village in a blink of an eye on command but could still sit in a room full of humans in controlled. At first I'd told them that they could either have one or the other, the monster or the teenager, but they could not have both.

I'd also told them where they could shove their cult. They didn't like me saying that much. I'd tried endlessly to get away, but considering there were 5 of them and the youngest was 300 years older than me (Me at the time being around 104 at the time) I didn't really have a chance.

That all changed though, when gorgeous Viking Arve (Named as of his speed and agility) fell in love with me and I in turn, him. But after I looked beyond our love, I realized what I was doing was wrong. It simply wasn't me, I didn't kill or hunt animals for funny, much less humans.

So I left, just like that to never return and hopefully never see them again. That it seemed, wasn't the case though which seems obvious as they'd just walked into Louis's living room.

They, as me seemed as shocked as I did by our meeting. It was then Sussanna, the youngest before me, launched herself across the room at me. I side stepped her attack with raised eyebrows as she stopped herself from hitting the floor by millimetres.

I braced myself for another attack and glanced at the other 4, giving them all a smirk full of false confidence, I knew in a fight all I could hope for was a quick death. My glance lingered on Arve for a few seconds then finally reached all the others, including Sussanna who'd walked back to where they all stood.

"Your speed has increased" said Michael in way of greeting. Blue midnight eyes bore into my green ones and without thinking I looked down in submission. Olivier sniggered and I looked up instantly clenching me fists. The time of being dominated by Michael was long gone, I'd told myself, though I still hadn't quite been able to look him in the eyes.

Instead I found myself staring challengingly at the person I hated the most of the lot, Olivier, said snigger-er. "What" I managed to say in a (sort of) strong voice "Are you doing here?".

He glared back, though looking surprised at my continuing defiance towards them. Had this been around 150 years ago, I'd have dropped to the ground in submission straight away. Even when I'd been Arav's lover I'd still have submitted, though with hesitation. In the fives minds, being someone's elder meant they were to be respected completely by said younger person.

This was easy for them to say though, being near the eldest things on the planet. I, couldn't really complain though, I was up there on the leader-board, though around the bottom.

I grinned unwisely at Olivier, his shock going to my head. "What's wrong Olivier?" I asked smugly "Surprised I'm not submitting to the likes of you?". He made an animal like growl and went to lung at me as Sussanna had a few minutes earlier, though Michael just about stopped him with a shake of his head.

He finally settled for a comment that, if I'd been alive, would have made me shiver "I'd watch what you say Alice, Arve wont protect you any more and there's nothing to stop me from taking you just" he paused for dramatic effect and then clicked his fingers "like that".

I stared at him, slightly wide eyed though still not willing to show fear. Fear is where you care about something enough to be afraid of it. Olivier, I had decided was not that important any more.

Sure he was my enemy and I was wary of him, but not scared, or at least that's what I told myself. I didn't really know what to say so I went with "I'd like to see you try" rather stupidly. He tensed and I'd knew I'd gone too far though I couldn't back down, not without seeming weak.

I just stared at him, waiting for attack. It seemed the 5 were just as violent as before, no surprise there. Though I had aimed for calm, I could tell Olivier saw right through it. He saw my suppressed fear and he smiled once again, the fear seemed to satisfy him all on its own.

I asked again "What are you doing here?" and looked at Louis for the first time since their arrival. "We" said Arav trying to get me to look him in the eye "Live here" he raised his brow at me and I shot a betrayed look at Louis.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, hurt that my old friend had kept secrets from me. "I was going to" He said looking surprisingly sincere, still I wasn't sure I believed him, when your as old as Louis you learn to hide emotions pretty well.

"That's what I was trying to tell you when they came in" He said and I nodded, not asking how they got in the first place, the 5 worked in mysterious ways, that I knew. " But,if their here" I shot daggers at each other them "Then why did you let me come here in the first place?".

He took a deep breath and let it out sharply "Like I said before Alice, your not safe in you Europe any longer, the hunters are the immediate danger not the 5" He said looking at me in the protective fatherly way he did.

It was my turn to raise my eyebrows "So you thought that I'd be saver living in the same town, hell we might even live on the same street, with the people that made me a monster?" My voice rose as I continued talking.

"Actually" Butted in Olivier "We didn't turn you into a monster, we saved you from getting staked by the hunters, it was only fair that you repay your debt in loyalty" he said.

"Loyalty?" I asked my brows raised. "What do you know of loyalty? You are loyalty to no one" I said face passive, though I smirked inwardly when I saw Olivier's fists re clench.

"You little witch!" He hissed and when he went to lung at me, it was Louis that stopped him. "Now, there's no need for violence" He said, standing in Olivier's path. "I'm sure we can all live in the same town peacefully".

"I don't think so" I said and I made move towards the door "I'm not staying in this town, not with them". "Come on Ally-" Louis began and I cut him off "No Louis, don't you Ally me, you betrayed me therefore you don't have that right any more" I regretted my words as soon as I saw the look on his face, yet couldn't take them back.

As I turned to go Arav stepped in my path "Your scared" the words he uttered surprised me. "Oh of course Arav" I replied utterly sarcastically "You know me much better than I do, please enlighten me on what I am scared off".

"Of us" He took a step towards me and I stepped back "Of me" He took another step forward and I didn't move this time so we were nose to nose "Of falling for me again" his voice leaked arrogance "Isn't that why you left us?".

I shook my head and smirked "Don't flatter yourself, I left because your monsters and I didn't want to become like you". My voice matched his for arrogance. "Now get out" I looked at the five's shocked faces. My decision was made."All of you, both me and Louis have some unpacking to do".
