Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Book online «Teardrops in the Ocean by Aimee and Yesenia (best classic books TXT) 📖». Author Aimee and Yesenia

Waves crashed against the rocks below. Seawater came up in multiple geysers, looking like they were trying to pull the rocks down with them. Elyssa stood atop one of the rocks allowing for the livid seawater to coat her arms and legs in its moisture. Her white dress danced with a passing breeze, cooling the spray from the seawater. A self-mocking smile touched Elyssa’s lips. It seemed an ironic twist of fate to stand here in pure white when she no longer was pure herself.
“Elyssa!” the voice cut across the crashing waves and Elyssa’s own thoughts. Her breath stilled and she fervently hoped the owner of the voice was not here. The crunching of gravel and footsteps conquered that hope. Slowly she turned to face the embodiment of her pain.
Alex stepped out from the cover of trees. His eyes and stance were steady, but his harsh breathing betrayed the fact that he’d been running. After her.
“What are you doing here?” Her voice held none of the emotions that were tearing her apart.
“I…came to search…for you. Why did you come here?”
She turned away from him then, afraid he would be able to see the tears in her eyes. Footsteps sounded behind her. He was going to try to comfort her now.
Anger suddenly sprang up, pushing back the tears and the feeling of desperation that had started to engulf her.
“Don’t come near me.” He hesitated. Turning back to him, she noticed the confused expression on his face. “I didn’t ask you to come after me. I didn’t tell you I was coming here for a reason. I didn’t want you to follow me.” Her voice faltered. Her anger deserted her and she was left with tears again.
Alex saw the change in moods and started to approach again. He was a few feet away before she cried out. “n-no. I told you to stay a-away.” Her words held no true meaning behind them, so when he took her in his arms, she didn’t object. She clung to his arms, allowing her tears to escape. She could almost believe it was like old times.
“Alex.” A young woman’s voice broke the spell. Elyssa looked up from Alex’s shirt, over his shoulder to see her coming from the trees. Alex turned to look too, already knowing who would be there.
“Anya.” Elyssa turned from Anya to Alex. Nothing had changed in his features, but there was a certain light about him. It reminded him of what they had, the love they used to share. Love.
Already, before he had even moved, she could feel he was gone. In another world. And she was left to live hers alone without him.
