''i'm excited to see our new home, mum!''said jacob. jacob had always been moving since his mother was low on money and had temperory homes. jacob and his mother looked at hoover ville. the win d whsitled and the leaves flew in the air there.
jacob's mother, julia had heared strange noises in the house one night. jacob didn't hear as he was too busy playing with his next door neighbour, lucy. as they were doing jokes in his room, noises came and the door creaked open.
jacob looked under his bed. he found a diary of a girl who used to live in his house. jacob was frightened when he read about her evil father.
suddenly that night, lucy heard julia scream. they were about to run downstairsbut jacob's door locked. noises came. lucy was crying. they heard footsteps. jacob covered her mouth. it was footsteps coming near. then they saw feet! lucy was ready to burst in tears. what was going on and who was in their house? jacob knew it had something to do with the diary.
jacob kicked the door with his leg and hit it with his fist. then lucy heard jacob screaming.she ran out of the room. he vanished!!!
lucy ran to the living room. julia was hanged!!! her face was frozen! lucy ran upstairs to find jacob knocked out. he woke up. 'who attaked you?'' asked lucy when he awakened. ''he's outside! it's a mad man!'' he repeated as his tears dropped more.''the door's locked, jacob!''''OK let's jump out the window''
''are you crazy?!'' shouted lucy!!
''yes,i'm doing it!''jacob got a crowbar, smashed the window and jumped out while grabbing lucy with him . they saw him as they landed. he had a knife. ''hello jacob''. spoke the man.jacob saw him. he looked strange.''remember that girlin the diary, lucy. that'sher father.he's mad!''the man nodded. it was him.he didn't like any people living in his house where he stabbed his daughter.
the man grabbed his knife and stabbed jacob on the back and jacob fell dead. lucy grabbed the knife and stabbed the man.
lucy told her mother and she called the police. the police awarded her for bravery but she lost the best friend she ever had...
