Running the boardwalk after midnight was not one of Sydney’s best ideas. “Hi” a man said startling her. “My name is Dan Kerger. Do you believe in love at first sight?” he asked. All of a sudden she did, there was something about him. As the night cooled down they snuggled on a bench overlooking the ocean. They talked until she fell asleep in his arms feeling the best she ever did. The feel of sunlight on her face woke Sydney. She was alone on the bench, a plaque on it read” In memory of Dan Kerger, War Hero”.
Abby swallowed hard she had to escape that night forever. A young Abby was sleeping in the back of her parents’ car. It came to a stop. A tall albino man climbed in next to Abby. His eyes glowed red as he hissed” I want hel…” three times .The sky grew red, the man glowed as if fire was reflecting off him. Do you want help her father asked. Haunted not knowing if it was a dream or memory for over thirty years, either way it was over Abby thought, as she felt the thirty pills sink down her throat.
The first day of hunting season, Scarlett sat hidden deep in the woods. An hour before dawn the one other hunter, she knew would show up, climbed into his tree stand. Scarlett’s heart pumped in her chest, excitement filled her body as the sun, came up to show a large eight point buck, the hunter also saw it and rose. Drawing back on her bow, she let the arrow fly; an instant kill straight through the heart. A quick picture of her trophy dangling from his tree stand and she was gone into the woods as fast as the deer.
