Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Dear Mr. Angelo,
I understand that during the next few weeks I am to be your counseler and the one that will carry out your final wishes if they are demmed appropiat by the Warden and the Police force. I hope that I can come to know more about you in the next few weeks.

Sincerly,
Doctor Abernathy.

Dear Dr. Abernathy,
I aslo hope that we can come to know each other more in the last few weeks of my life. It seems odd to me that they would assign me a doctor to write letters to me, as I rot in this cell. Oh well. It seems that whatever life hands you, you have to make the best of it. I do have one wish though: I would like to be able to see the families of those I killed so I could explain to them why I did it and to offer my condolencies. I completly understand If they refuse this request and look forwared to a time when we can see eachother. And please call me Mister Angelo

Mister Angelo.

Dear Mister Angelo,
I will chech with the familys of the victims if they would like such a meeting, and if so I will be glad to set something like that up. I do have one question for you: Why do you insist on being called Mister Angelo? On a differant note, I have some news that you most likely not like. It seems that they have moved up the date of your punishment to sometime this week. So this may be the last letter we send to eachother.
Sincerly,
Doctor Abernathy.

Dear Dr. Abernathy,
The reason that I insist on being called Mister Angelo, is simply that I have no record of what my birth name is. Since they have moved up the date of my execution, it seems that I will be leaving this world sooner then anyone expects. For I will not be led to the slaughter like so many others. I am sorry that we have only known eachother for a short time.

Mister Angelo.

Sadly Doctor Abernathys next letter arrived to late to save this mans life. The day after Mister Angelo wrote this letter he led a prison riot, killing 7 guards and injuring many more, before he was finally put down. When Doctor Abernathy investigated Mister Angelos room, he discovered a message scratched into the wall. The message read as follows.
"To be led like a lamb to the slaughter is something that no sane man should ever let happen if he values his honor and pride. For to go down fighting is the only real way to die, with a weapon in your hands, and blood on your hands. This is the only way to truly die."
