"Jennifer, wake up!", I heard a distant voice in my sleep."You are going to be late at school again!".

The last sentence stayed in my head for several seconds and this pulled me out of my dream. I sat up and glanced at the clock. It was already 8.30. I was sure i would miss the bus. I got off the bed and headed to the bathroom. Thirty minutes later, I was at the bus stop and as I have guessed, I had missed the bus. I reached school twenty minutes late. 

I peeped inside my class and found my teacher already there. I tried to sneak into the classroom silently and went straight to my seat hoping thet Mr. collins would not noticemy intrusion. Unfortunately, as i was halfway from my place, I heard a voice boomed:

"Good morning, Miss Taylor. I see that you are late again. What will you make up this time?. Some aliens trying to kidnap you, maybe." I heard some laughter from behind.

"No, I said defensively.

"so?, he asked impatiently.

I thought quickly and replied:

"Someone stole my clock!". This time the whole class burst out laughing.

"Silent!, Mr Collins ordered. I could see his ears turning red and I half expected smoke to come out from them. He tried to calm down to make his voice steady and said:

"You know what is funny, Miss Taylor, the fact that i'm going to put you on detention!

I looked at him defiantly and then smiled.

"As you wish, Sir."

He stared at me for a long moment and then went back to his explanation. I hurried to my seatnext to my best friend,Lisa.

During the break, we joined the others at our table at the cafeteria. Kurt, Emily and Danny were already there. Kurt was Emily's boyfriend and Lisa and Danny were together.

We sat down and I scanned the room for tamie. Tamie was my best enemy. She was a beautiful girl with long curly hair. her eyes were as brown as chocolate. Instead of seeing her, I saw a boy that I never met before. I decided that he was new. He was sitting alone at a table, his hed bent down with his lunch tray before him. His dark blond hair were in a mess but still he seemed so cute. There was something about him that was very attractive. I could'nt get my eyes off him.

"Hey Jenny, are you listening?, I heard Danny say breaking my thoughts.

"Huh, what are you saying?"

Lisa sighed and replied:

"We were just discussing about he club we were at last night. Danny wants to return there tonight. What is your problem? You seem far away."

"I don't have any problem. I agree with Danny. The club is very cool.Arewe going today?, I asked enthusiastic.

"I also want to go, said Emily

"let's say nine o'clock tonight.I'll pick you all up.

"Okay with me! Now please excuse me, i said getting up from my seat. I left my friends staring at me as if I was insane and walked to he mysterious lonely boy. As i approach his table, he raised his head and loked at me curiously.

"Hi, I said, I'm Jennifer Taylor. You must be new here.

"Yeah I'm  new. And I'm Troy Wood. he replied with the cutest voice I've ever heard."So, what do you want?
