Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Chapter One

The midsummer night in west Virginia was rather humid this time of year. But that did not matter to the young woman walking quickly down the deserted sidewalk. To anyone looking out their window it would seem to them that she was just some random woman walking home. But this woman was anything but random. She was the fearie queen Pricillis and she had business to attend to. She hurried down the sidewalk and quickly walked up to the old Philbrooke manor. Anyone who saw this place would instantly think "old money" well that was indeed the case. But any human would never realize how old. Pricillis walked up to the door and knocked sharply the times. A little slot opened in the door to reveal a pair of beady little eyes.
"Identify" came a voice from inside sounding rather raspy.
"You know who I am Quillton, let me in" the woman said quietly. The slot shut and she heard many locks being undone and the door opened quietly without a sound.
"Forgive me my Queen, I did not realize it was you" Quillton said to Priscilla and he bowed her inside. Priscilla nodded and walked across the open foyer towards a set a red oak sliding doors. She turned to Quillton and said "Let Frink know that I will be awaiting him
in the Study"
"As you wish my Queen" Quillton answered closing the door and he began shambling up the staircase.
