Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. Prologue

There was whispering around her. She heard strange voices, languages beyond her knowledge. She didn't know she had any knowledge of course. In fact, how did she have any knowledge at all??
"Ecarg si yrev lufrewop." One of them mumbled. "Ehs t'nseod neve wonk ti."
Grace caught on quickly. They were saying stuff backwards! In translation, they said, "Grace is very powerful, she doesn't, even know it."
"Pleh." Grace whimpered, instinctively knowing she had the same tongue as the others, backwards speech.
They all turned towards her. Since she was only a small girl, they were amazed by her knowing Sdrawkcab Eugnot. "Backwards Tongue." She was quite surprised as well.
"Ecarg!" One of them with a whip at the ready, snickered. "Ecarg sah Sdrawkcab Eugnot!" 'Grace has backwards tongue.'
"Llik reh!" The biggest ordered. 'Kill her.'
"Grace!" A small bronze haired, brown eyed girl without Sdrawkcab Eugnot ran up to her and squeezed her eyes shut.
The next thing she knew, she was in a beautiful horse field. A gravel path dividing four or more horse pastures, was under their feet. The only thing visible was the horses, stables, path, and barn, and a creepy woods at the end of the path.
"Grace!" The strange little girl hugged her tightly. "I've missed you so much." She whispers.
"I have no idea who you are." Grace replied.
The bronze-haired girl let her go and walked angrily down the path towards the woods.
"I'm sorry to offend you." Grace called after her.
"You didn't offend me in any way. You just don't know who I am, thus telling me how stupid you are!" The little girl squeaked, running faster until she appeared to be floating, usually would be seen as angelic, but evil was the only word that came into Grace's mind.
"Wait!" Grace ran after her. "Please, Ivory!"
Grace stopped in her tracks. Where did the name Ivory come from??
"Grace! You finally remembered!" She turned around and leaped into her arms.
"I remembered what?" She stared into space.
"My name. I'm your sister, Ivory." Ivory smiled.
