In all the world there was nothing like it. Nobody knew how to handle it. Everybody knew that it would destroy them. The bright flames engulfed thier bodies, a flash flood that held them under...And never let them go. A flash flood made of pure, blue fire.
Let me take you back to when this all started. It was exactly one year after the world was supposed to end. Yes, it was 12-21-13. A dreadful day. The sky was a beautiful blue, but it was soo hot, and nobody knew why, for there was no sun to be seen.
It was an 8 year old girl that figured it out. Her name was Jasmine, and she looked at the sky and asked her mother, "why is the sky on fire, mommy?"
The mother, naturally, was terrified at seeing that the sky was ACTUALLY on fire. So what did she do? She called the news, of course.
Oh, you should have seen it! Everybody in the whole world was buzzing when they found out! Everybody looked up and saw it! Flames licking out of the sky! Fireballs falling! Oh and when the fire just dissapeared! How...strange!
Never in my life have i EVER seen something so mysterious as the fire that appeared in the sky, dissepeared, and reappeared as a flood of fire in one day!
Now,before I go any further, I must tell you that I am the angel of death, and the reason I am sharing this story with you is because you are the last known survivor on the face of the earth, and you can do with this information as you wish...Just know that I am here to tell you what happened that day, and to tell you that you are the last of any living species on earth.
Now, back to the story. I remember that day as if it were yesterday. It was well into the afternoon, I'd say about 3, when the fire in the sky ceased, and the flood began. It started in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, and from there it went to the rest of the surrounding oceans. Quite peculiar, if you ask me. Then, it went on to the continents. It was fast, and painful for all the victims. Teriffying too.
Ah, but it was a beautifuly gruesom sight for me. it didn't go to one continent at a time, but to all continents at the same time, and like I said before, it was FAST!
It ended at midnight, and I was sent to capture all the souls. After I did my duty, I decided to go for a walk, and I came across you, my feathered friend. You, the last known surviver of a flood of fire. a grown, pregnant eagle...maybe you won't be the last living thing on earth...maybe, just maybe, an eagle somewhere, somehow, will always be soaring high in the sky.

Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you donโt realize the full power of fiction. So using our website in your free time discover fiction for yourself.
