I remember not too long ago I was working for a really descent business and I was climbing up the corporate ladder further, further, and further until I was the CEO of the business. At that time everything seemed like it was going great, I mean that I had a wife, tons of money, a house, a car, and everything I ever wanted. My wife had been acting a little strange and I eventually found out why because on the way home I went to an ATM to withdraw some money, come to find out that all fifty-six thousand dollars was gone.
I then hurried up to my house, just to find out that my wife had packed up her stuff and left me. Later I found out that she was the one that took all of the money. That day marked the beginning of a change for the worst. I still don’t know why my wife left me that day, but come to find out that she had found another guy that was completely broke and so that’s why she took the money. I loved her so much.
That very next day I went to work and I just lost my mind. I ended up getting fired for that one mess up. I eventually lost everything I owned and that I had to work for. Then I lost my famously great state of mind. After all that, every time I found and or stole some money I spent it on some alcohol. I never once thought about what I had been doing to myself.
After about two weeks of being homeless and drinking a lot of alcohol I found myself passing out from lack of food or water. I eventually came to kind of and found a person at my side saying, “Wake up, wake up honey!” Then I said, “Hi mom, how are you?” Then I passed out again. Three in half hours later I woke up again and asked where am I? The lady then said, “Hey honey I was in the area and I heard that you were in the hospital I hurried on over here,” “Also I had been thinking about something’s while I was gone and I realized that I was really wrong to leave because I love like no other!”
We then hooked back up and we started to rebuild the life we lost all because of the brake up because I later found out that while my wife was gone she spent all of the fifty-six thousand dollars. It took another four in half years to begin to get to the place in life that we once were at. It was a long, rocky road to get what we had. One very good thing about all of that was that my wife and I learned to appreciate everything we had a lot more.
