Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. A Hungry Crowd

My hair brushed my shoulders and my purse bumped against my hip as I strutted into the room. I pulled at the hem of my sweater and placed my hands on my waist, looking around. I smiled. Everyone was here.
Darth Vader was sitting at the end of the table, using hand gestures as he spoke to Spongebob Squarepants, who was looking at Vader like he half-expected him to break out his lightsaber. Spock sat next to Spongebob, talking to Indiana Jones and trying his hardest to ignore the “illogical” yellow sponge beside him. Frodo Baggins was sitting on the other side of the table, already eating, and Popeye the Sailor was chatting to Jacob Black along with the Druid Allanon and his friend, Menion Leah. And last but certainly not least, Captain Jack Sparrow was in the last seat, the one beside mine.
“So then I said, ‘I am your father’!” I caught a snatch of Darth Vader and SpongeBob’s conversation. Vader threw back his helmeted head and laughed. “He never saw that one coming!” Spongebob giggled, causing an annoyed glance from Spock to shoot his way.
“Such an…..” Spock paused. “Annoying creature.” He finished. Indie smiled and nodded knowingly. “They don’t have any annoying shows like that from where I come!” his voice raised a notch and Allanon and Menion glanced up from their conversation.
“Keep it down elf!” Allanon tells Spock. Spock’s sculpted eyebrows raise and if it was possible, a look of defiance crosses his features. “I am not an elf, necromancer. I am a Vulcan!” his voice raises and Frodo looks up, his snow-cone blue eyes suddenly clouded with worry. “Necromancer?” he gives Allanon a wary, almost frightened look. “Allanon raises his eyes to the ceiling and sighs. “Druid.” He states. Frodo still seems unsure. Allanon seems to think for a minute then he says, “Or a wizard, like Gandalf.” Frodo then smiles in barley concealed relief; the thought of someone like Sauron or the Ringwraiths seemed too scary to the short Ringbarer.
“Keep it down over there!” the voice of Popeye rings through the air; everyone ignores him, except for Jacob who urges him to continue the story he had been telling.
I continue to my chair and sit down.
“When is the rum getting here, love?” Jack asks me as soon as I sit down, his fingers reaching to play with my hair. I push his hands away. “Don’t touch my hair. I already told you I don’t like dreadlocks,” I grimace at him. “And there is no rum.” He rolls his eyes. “The rest are missing out.” He then proceeds to pull out his own flask and I sigh. Some pirates never change.
“Everyone!” I stand and clap my hands, gesturing to the waiters coming in. They sit the plates down, and I smile warmly at my guests. “Dig in!” I sit down as everyone starts to eat, and smile again to myself. The night was starting out great.
